Episode description

"The Take" is a drama/thriller film from 2007, not to be confused with the TV series "The Take" from 2009 about a criminal sociopath played by Tom Hardy. It looks pretty good, but John Leguizamo isn’t in it.

The Take starring John Leguizamo is set in working class Los Angeles. Felix De La Pena is a family man that drives an armored vehicle for a living. One shift, late at night, his truck is hijacked by a very angry man and his very angry friends. Felix is shot in the head but he survives! Felix’s wife, Rosie Perez, endevours to nurse her husband back to health as he attempts to recover from his intense pain and emotional damage. When Felix discovers that he is a suspect in the crime, he decides to find the real culprit himself, despite his full on mood swings, inability to keep his penis hard and his little to no recollection of the event.

John plays Felix. The lead role. Fuck yes.
