Episode description

This week, Mish and Zach are joined by one of the funniest humans on the planet - comedian/podcaster Ben Russell. The three of them discuss the deep themes and philosophical undertones of Disney's Ice Age- the first movie in a franchise that just won't seem to end.

Ice Age is a 2002 animated film about a cynical mammoth named Manny that is unwillingly paired up with a goofy, lanky sloth by the name of Sid. Together, along with a broody sabre-toothed tiger named Diego, they set out to return a lost human baby to his tribe. This seemingly simple mission is challenged by Diego's sabre-toothed tiger mates that want to eat the mammoth and kill the baby. As this story unfolds, the unlikely trio of mammoth, sloth and tiger form a super strong bond despite their obvious differences. It's very cute. Dennis Leary is in it.

John Leguizamo plays Sid the Sloth, a wily goofball with a thick, wet lisp and a longing to find someone to hang out with him.
