The Story of Ethan Belcher

This week, Drewby and Yergy head back to Detroit to discuss the emerging case of Ethan Belcher, a little boy who was beaten, starved, and made to stay in a sewage-filled basement by his mother and her new boyfriend. But when little Ethan finally succumbs to his maltreatment, he can't even be laid to rest in a timely fashion because his own father can't be bothered to sign release papers so that his body can be sent to the funeral home for his final arrangements. This is the story of a little boy who was failed by everyone but his loving aunts.
