There are always two conversations going on.

The one that is happening between you and another person.

And the one that is happening inside your brain.

Those two conversations don't always match. Usually, the one inside your brain is much more dramatic and sometimes even more interesting.

But the most important part is to become aware of both. See what conversations you want to participate in and see what conversations you no longer want part of your life.
