Welcome back to another episode in Switzerland with, um, with man's on Zoom. It's not the same man's house. I know it's not the same. I'm in an odd you're in a nice summary here. I know but it's been nice to catch up either way. Sorry nice
formulas. So guys, we're doing an episode today that's actually it's kind of it's kind of ridiculous that I've never done this episode but we're doing an episode a very exciting one because today is the first official day that the doors to level up your life open. And that is very exciting to me I get I get all the fields as man's nose, I get all the fields before we open the doors because it's like so much energy, so much excitement, bit of nerves
bit of anticipation. And today is the day we work a lot behind the scenes to get everything ready. I've been working for the last few months to redesign the whole journal, I've been going through the curriculum man does all of the tech stuff on the back end, which I know you just love. And we're ready. Today we're doing a little bit of an overview of like, what's gone into the last six months of redesigning it what is the level of course man's is actually going to take them up and do the
interviewing. And I've never done this before. I've never actually talked in detail about level up, why I created it. All of the things man's has got a whole bunch of questions to come. the enrollment page. But for now, I would love to know before we get into it Mandy's or what's your weekly win. I've got a big win this week. It hasn't actually happened, but it is going to happen. On Thursday. I'm going to Melbourne to see my sister for her birthday. And I'm so excited. It's a solo trip as well. So it's it's, you know, extra special. Oh, you too. It's so cute. I love watching you to just do see things. It's so nice because our dad's going to be there as well. This
time for Kate's birthday. So we've got lots of things planned. We've got dinners, and we're going to Phillip Island to see the fairy penguins. And when going to the movie and yeah, I'm staying at Kate's house as well. So I'm just so excited to just do those little things like you know, we used to get up in the morning and have a cup of tea together or like sit on the end of like the other ones bed and just chat and catch up and I
missed that. So, so much. So I'm really really looking forward as I fly out at 1030 on Thursday, so I'm really so wholesome. You should see your face right now. It's the best and so is the pandas on your ordinary I have to say I'm studying a revolution guys. Oh, these are nothing. Yeah, I want to know you man. depender love what's your win? Tell me getting the fuck out of France. I knew you're gonna do well, I actually had a look. I was like, wonder if I've got any listeners
in France turns out I do. I had a look around. Look, it's not my favourite country. It's what I'm going to say it was but it has a chance to redeem itself because right now we've completely changed our plans. And we're recycling all down like from the north from the north all the way south of Switzerland, which has been oh my gosh, Switzerland I'm obsessed with it's a little utopia. It's like I think it's where good people go when they
die. It's just utopia. It's heaven it looks I've been to interlocken in Switzerland and oh my god that just the whole place was like a frickin postcard it's in credible incredible by winter winter so it was a little bit different like it wasn't you know, you've got all the green rolling hills like we had like it was still absolutely stunning but everything was like blue and crystals and you know snow when it's just gorgeous. Yeah, it is. And yeah, the
cycling honestly. It's like, oh my God, so many mountains though, like so many mountains. So it's been the most challenging writing we've ever done. But it's also the best because after you've spent all morning pushing like some days it's like it's literally like doing sled pushers for three hours carry it and they're fully loaded just sled pushes all day
up mountains. But then and I said to Paul is this direct and this is what childbirth is like, like, you just you're grinding and you want it to be over and it's miserable and it's absolutely fucked and your bodies are no it's not the same kind of pain but, but then when it's done and you get that 32nd thrill writing down, you forget the pain and you're like, I want to do it again. I'm not a good analogy, huh? Yeah. So that's been Switzerland and we're going to be back in France soon doing the
south. So it's got a chance to redeem itself. But so now my wind has my wind was just getting out. Getting out getting the fuck out of there. Well done. Yeah. And okay, well, oh, go. And opening the doors is a big win being ready. Like I've still got to do little bits and pieces to do but we are good to go. And that's exciting too. So let's go easy. Very exciting. That's always very
exciting. Okay, I'm going to take over now and I'm going to be taking on the role of someone who has just stumbled upon your page on Instagram and they've been scrolling through your feed and they've been seeing you talk a lot about something called level up and they don't know what the fuck are beans. So I'm going to get inside their brain and you're going to tell me all of the juicy information it's actually baffling that we've never done an episode like this before because this it's just
it's your baby you know? It's such a passion like obviously you talk about it but to get down into the nitty gritty and you know to find out the the why behind it really. Oh, sorry. Just to sex okay, we can just cut this bit out is Hawk not in the house? Jane? Is Hawk not in the house? Oh, he's Oh, okay. Oh, okay. Oh, good. Good, good oh, I've got P coming in Jane, but I'm just on a call trying to record a podcast so can you just
stop him at the top? Sorry, I just breezing Switzerland, so I've just sorry, good. Is that whole set? That was his mom that came in. But yeah, it was his dad at the door. But he was coming in. And I was like, fuck, he can't come in because he's so Daughtery. He'll just get stuck in here. Okay, sorry. I'll just start again. You're up to get up. You're up to it's my baby. So it's interesting that we haven't done this episode. Yet. It's actually crazy, because this is literally your
baby. And even though you've spoken about it before, we've never gotten into the nitty gritty about the why and how you birthed it and your deep, deep thoughts about all of that. So I'm actually really excited to get into this. And I'm sure this is going to help so many people. So I'm going to start by asking you to tell me in a nutshell, what is level up your life. I love that you said nutshell because you know that I'll talk forever. Yeah, I'm gonna try to big nutshell. It's such a big
nutshell. And I actually do find it quite hard to articulate. Because the transformations and what goes on inside is so deep, and yet so broad. That it's it's really like you got to be in it to experience it. But it is a 12 week personal development journey where you are being held up a mirror, to really fucking see yourself and to take time to not just see yourself but to look at your life in a very broad and holistic sense. And then really nail in on like, what is it that you actually
want. And then on top of that, I go into a whole six weeks after we do a lot of that deep soul searching, looking at ourselves looking at our lives reflected. Then I go in and teach about the mind. And so the next part kind of moves into it is like the user manual for your mind that you were never taught. It's, it's this is how you actually rewire your mind. This is how you get results you want this is how you transcend your own patterns, behaviours
reactivities. It's a whole journey of getting to know yourself but also getting to know the most important tool you have, which is your mind, which is that one fucking thing that we weren't taught, taught at school like we weren't taught about we were taught about maybe In the amygdala, in you know, like, this is the amygdala and it does this maybe in a human bio class, but we were in a
biology, yes. So it's mindset, but on, like on a whole new level, and it's just a 12 week journey of dedicated time to get to know yourself and to level up your life in whatever way that means to you. So it's very, it has very broad kinds of kind of results and transformations, because everybody wants different things. And that's why I say like, no two results, or stories are the same, because everybody's different. And so level up your life is an opportunity and a container to
explore that. And then to know how to align your mind with what's on your soul. I love that. And it's so true that no two results are the same. There's been so many examples of people that have joined because they've just known there's something else, there's got to be something else for them, but they don't know exactly what it is. And that's the whole point of it. Like we have had questions in the past and people like, what if I don't
know what I want to do? And it's like, that's literally the point like, that's perfect. We're going to drill. Yes, that's right, we're going to drill right down into that pretty much immediately to lay the foundations for all of this stuff later through the course. So Oh, that's amazing. And so why was it born? Like, why did you create it? Why did you feel the need to create level up? It got to a point, I actually feel like level up is almost like a culmination of my life's
work. And everything has led to level up and then. So I was a teacher for quite a long time. But in the last few years, I started to really diverge a little bit within my teaching career from academia to mindset and pastoral care. And through that journey, I was rediscovering myself to learn that learning all these tools, and I was studying neuro linguistic programming. And then I started doing like a mentor
sheet with Bob Proctor. And I started doing my own experiments of using all of these new tools and my life due to complete three lucky I can't even I can't even honestly, I live in a different place, I have a different career, I have a business, which I never thought ever I would have. My marriage is like, our relationship gets better and better. Like everything in my life changed when I started working and using
these tools. And at the start, I was just teaching it to high school kids, like I was teaching it to kids. And I was getting insane feedback, like feedback that you do not get very often as a teacher, from parents from from other teachers. It was really, really cool. And so I was like, I want everyone to learn this, because nobody has taught it. I'm just doing it off
my own back. And then, honestly, by the time I sat down, it's so funny, because I was reflecting on this, I've still got the piece of paper on this big, like butcher pad, you know, the butcher pads that you get this is how I create every course I sit down with a butcher pad, and I do it I level up the curriculum. And I mean, I do revise it every single round. But I made that in a day. I think it was half a day it was done. It was Wow. It was like it
just came out of me. And I saw so many results with every single person that I worked with. And over time, I was like, this needs to be a core so it can reach more people. Because it's like, like I said, it's the user manual for your mind, which you were never taught. And imagine if every single human knew themselves knew their own triggers knew their own what's there, you know what I mean? Like relationships, improve yourself, trust improves, knowing just everything improves, and I just wanted
everyone to know it. So I was like, This is why I'm doing it. Because I believe that it's the stuff we were never taught. So good. And who is it targeted? Towards? Like, who did you create it? For? I think at first it was targeted towards that. And I think what's happened is it's like there's two types of people now that come in, or two sort of camps.
And at first, I think it was debt, it was honestly probably directed at someone who was in a position very similar to where I was probably four years ago, maybe four or five years ago, and probably most of my 20s which probably a lot of people can resonate with. And it's like, you've done all the things you know, you've ticked all the boxes, you've got the degree or you've got these things that you
were meant to do. You've been the good girl you've I don't know, got the grades, got the job, got the promotion, done all the things and you're like, this isn't actually what the fuck am I meant to do? Like, this isn't made for me and I knew there was something more but I couldn't articulate it because it didn't fit a bow like it couldn't wrap it up in a bow. It was a bit of this but a bit of that and had all these passions, but it was like a whole you know, it was Like, I don't know what I'm
doing. But I know there's something more. I know there's something more for me like I was in the classroom before that I was in a law firm like, nah, this, isn't it. And then I did a bit of journalism. And I was like, kind of getting warmer, but I hate the lifestyle. And then teaching Yes. Okay, getting warmer love the people love the teaching. But oh, there's a bit a lot wrong here. And it was like, what is it like, there's something more for me, and I feel it so deeply, but I can't
put my finger on it. And so it was kind of, at first, a huge sort of, it was the tools that helped me to actually go, Oh, my God, this is it. And I created the life I wanted. So it was kind of at that person who didn't know and was a bit stuck in a rut, honestly a little bit like, fuck is this going to be my life for the next 50 years until I retire and get to enjoy life? It was for that person.
But then over time, it's also because I've, I've rebirth that so many times, it's for that person who doesn't know what they want, and maybe feels a bit disconnected to who they even are. Like, I don't actually know who I am or what lights me up. And then the other person is the person who's like, No, I know. And I've got this fucking vision. I've got a dream. And I've got gusto, I'm ready to fucking send it gave me the
tools to send it faster. And so it's been really cool, because both people get so much from it. And like, ultimately, I just I say, it's kind of cheeky, but I'm like, if you're a human, and you have a heartbeat, and you've got a mind, it's for you. Yes. Like, that's all there is to it.
And so many people say to me at the end, I remember having one conversation, actually with a group of the VIPs a few rounds ago and they were like, Bree, if of politicians did level up, can you imagine the world we'd live in? And I was like, Oh, that's so funny. But then I hear like, I wish my parents did level up. I wish my kids teachers did
level up. I wish I wish my friend would do level or can you make my husband do level up like, and I've had some people who have told me their husband started working through the books with them, too. And it's, it's really just because it helps people, honestly, just to be a little bit happier. I feel no, that's so amazing. And and it doesn't seem to matter where you are on that scale, you're going to get something out of
it. Regardless, you're going to come away with new eyes and a new outlook on the whole lot. Yeah, yeah. If you let it, which I love in with an open mind and a student mindset, and you're willing to keep showing up for yourself and drop, you know, drop your ego, leave it at the door, all of that stuff that I talked about a lot. Yeah, there's like, I believe that you can learn from any situation, if you can't learn something about yourself going to get a coffee in the morning, you probably not
observing yourself enough. Like there's something to be learned in every interaction of your life. But this is a 12 week, like zoom in and a dedicated time and practice and journal and modules and all of that to really look at yourself. Amazing. And so just touching on the modules, then, and you don't have to go into, you know, huge detail. But what are the things that are covered throughout the course of the 12 weeks? I know, you mentioned that there was the
six week mindset component. But could you break it down a little bit more across the 12 weeks about what is included from start to finish? So it's broken into three phases. So it actually starts with what we call clarity. And that's the dream life design. So dream life design is where we actually look at like, who we reflect first. So like where am I at right now? what's working,
what's not. And we look from a very wide lens, it's like looking at our health, we look at relationships, we look at our fulfilment, our careers, our finances, and it's like what's working? What's not what can we tweak? Where am I at? What do I want truly like, and we remove layers so that you can actually get to the what you want, because so many people they say they don't know. But the truth is something underneath that.
That is confusion that lies on top of fear or confusion that lies on top of doubt or confusion that lies on top of something else. So we really break it down and we get to the dream life design phase and we're designing everything so that like I always say you can't aim you can't shoot a dartboard if there's no like cartoon. Dart is a dartboard in front of you I've lost you and my whole you've just frozen where we learn about the conscious mind the subconscious conscious
mind conscious behaviours. I believe wrongly. You can choose any I don't know I lost you like 45 seconds ago. Back. Wonder what happened? I was trying to tell you about you obviously couldn't hear me now. Back is it still recording? Yeah, but now it's dodgy as frozen. Yeah, you're frozen Wait, you're not frozen now? Um Just give it a sec. Maybe it's just had a moment you look good. Now. What if we turn the cameras off? Yeah, we can do that. Okay, try to turn the cameras off. It
might make it better. All right. So do what what did you lose me? You were talking about the Dream Life Design getting in when people say they don't know. And you're getting underneath the layers because there actually is something there. And then I heard a little I heard a flicker of subconscious. But I like you froze, and I just heard little flickers of what you were saying and you obviously couldn't hit? You couldn't? Yeah, say that. I was trying to say like, I've lost you. Okay, so
I'll go. So, um, so I've said, so can you break down? Like some of the topics that you got? Can you break down the topics that you cover throughout the 12? Week? So maybe if you just to make a clean edit, if you can start that answer again. Okay, sorry. It's all good. All right. And just if I, if you if I start glitching just cut me off. Okay, I can't see you, obviously. So I'm just gonna have to scream at you. If I hear glitching sounds okay. Is it better now? Just say, say sentence.
Dreamlife. Design and then mindset reset? Yeah, that was fine. Okay, cool. Okay. Yeah. So it's actually broken up into three sections. So the first section is clarity. And that's where we do dream life
design. And dream life design is where we really First things first, is that we reflect, we reflect on where we're at now from a really like holistic lens of where am I at, emotionally, spiritually, with my career, with my finances, with my relationship with my sense of purpose, my health, where am I at? what's working, what's not, why is it not working? And then we start to actually create, like, a dartboard. So we've got something to aim the mindset
reset at. And that is where we get clarity on where is it that I'm going, what is it that I truly fucking want. And we break down the layers, because so many people come into saying, I don't know what I want. And I have found that that is always laying on top of fear. Confusion usually sits on top of fear, doubt, something else that is going on under the surface. And the easy out is to say, I don't know, I'm confused. And so we start with the confusion and we go deeper into what is it you
truly want. And we literally as it sounds, design, the dream life, the dream year, the dream week, we design it from how you want to feel how you want your days to look like all of that. So that when we go into the second part of the course, which is mindset reset, and that is where I teach about the conscious mind and the subconscious mind and the higher faculties of our mind that we
were never taught. And the reason that we do it in this order is so that you actually have something to you have the clarity of what it is you want. And now you know what beliefs, what identities, what sort of things you need to now embed and rewire into your subconscious.
And in this, in this piece, we start to also this is where all the limiting beliefs come up where the self sabotage the behaviours, the patterns, the reactivities, the perfectionism, all of this comes up here, and we get to really work on that, look at that. And it's a real, I love the mindset modules so much, because this is really like the user manual piece. And then in the in the end, we do like the energetic side. So that's where it gets a little bit woowoo. And it is very, very
much backed up by science. I always like because there's a lot of people that come in really into the world and some people like not so much, but in the end, they really are like oh, this makes a lot of sense. So that's where we convert. Yeah, they go into it. We go into like manifestation and the law of energetics and a little bit of quantum and all of that stuff at the end to tie it all up. So there's a lot of inner
child work. There's a lot of subconscious reprogramming, there's Dreamlife There's, there's, we touch a lot. It's honestly, it's so incredible listening to you lay it all out like that. Because even though I had a rough idea, obviously, of what you teach in the course, it wasn't until I really started going through the journal, when we were updating it all that I realised how deep these modules go. It is
incredible. And I couldn't help it as I was reading things, putting, you know, my answers in there, and just even getting my cogs sort of turning in my brain a bit about those sorts of things. And it's, it's so in depth and yeah, it's it's really incredible. I wanted to ask you as well, what are some of the consistent themes or limiting beliefs that you see come up for people inside? Level up? Like, is there a through line between some of those things?
Yeah, there's definitely a theme of people they finally get well, the first one, which I've already mentioned is this, I don't know, story. I don't know, or I don't know how, or just a lot of I don't know, and
confusion. And then when we get underneath that, and we do sort of figure things out, the next part that often happens is the people in their life, the environment that they're in, whether it's their relationships, or their colleagues or their part, like, they're not necessarily in the right environment for them to thrive, because they're going back into their conditioning, you know, because it conditioning is usually a big part of your environment, and
vice versa. It's often not having the support around them. And that's why I created such a community aspect and brought in the retreat as well. Because normalisation is so important to making your, your action not so scary, because everyone else is doing the same thing, and all of that. So there's definitely a theme of not knowing who to speak to and feeling like every you know, you finally got this fire under your belly, but you go back into your life, and then you go back into that comfort
zone. So that's been a thing. There's definitely a lot of fear around, quote, starting again, fear around going backwards, a lot of fear around, what if I fail? What if it doesn't work? What if I'm not good enough? And that's where the mindset modules come in so hard because there's underlying stories and themes through lens there, where it's like, where else are you seeing this in your life, because if that's the kind of self belief and self trust that you have, there's a lot there that needs
to be worked on. And that's why it's so great to start with dreaming really big, because it gives all your limitations and your little shadowy things a chance to come to the surface. So yeah, there's honestly so many. It's hard to say, but those were the ones that come to my head straightaway. Yeah, I love that because you've actually answered my next
question. interweaved, which was going to be can you explain the ways in which level up helps to overcome those specific themes and limiting beliefs, but you've literally ticked when this pops up, this is why we have this in level up when this pops up. This is why we have to level up so you've actually rounded that out so beautifully. And I just want to finish with the last question. And I don't know whether you're going to be able to answer this but I'm going to
ask you anyway. What is your favourite thing about level up your life? Is there one favourite thing the retreat stands out but also it's funny it's because like I said to in the beginning there's been so such a wide variety of transformations. And sometimes you get these holy fucking shit.
Well, like somebody's quit their job moved into state built this business like they're getting, you know, like stocked in pharmacies, or they built their dream house or they've created like just so many amazing things big big month in business. They're all really cool. But the ones that just stand out to me, especially when I get messages, and this happens almost every week, I get a message from someone who's done a year ago or two years ago or three years ago. And it's still paying
dividends. But the ones that stand out for me like I remember this message where it was like my kids said to me today, mom, remember when you used to be grumpy all the time. And then another lady last night I know it literally makes me so emotional. And another lady last round. She shared up shirt when she started. It was for herself, obviously. But her son was having a really hard time at school and it was a bit disengaged and wasn't loving it.
And she was just, you know, going through doing the level artwork. And then she shared this picture about halfway through. And her son had started writing his goals and he wrote down I'm going to join the
basketball team. I'm going to train two times a week and he started doing his gratitude at night and his whole attitude on it and she shared that and those things another lady, she used to have health anxiety She had a few issues come up quite recently where she had to go and get all these health heart scans. And that used to send her
into this massive spiral. And she sent me a voice message just a few weeks ago, actually, and this is like a year after she'd finished and she was like, bury the fact that I went to hospital. And there actually was something worth investigating. I was so on top of my emotions, I was so confident I didn't have any anxiety, I didn't have any
panic attacks. Like, the I know, they sound like, you know, people want to hear about the big things like the making more money, and all of that and having a launching this dream business. But my favourite thing is hearing about the ripple effect in these sort of, they seem like the small things, but to me, they're the big things like the impact it has on your kids, people who say it saved their marriages, people who say they're not getting anxious
going to the doctors anymore. So they're getting on top of their health like that, for me, is my favourite part about level up and getting those messages is it's really like, it's just the gift that keeps giving. And I'm so grateful for the people that keep me updated. Because it just it tickles my pickle.
It's a Yeah, it's genuinely improving life at a very base level for a really long period of time, which is Yeah, I mean, that's just such a testament to the work that you've put into creating this course and the energy and vibe and passion that you bring to teaching it. I mean, it's just palpable, you can completely hear it. And I just want to say thank you so much for being so open and honest about for answering all of those questions. Being ready. Being the feeling people say like, oh, wait till I'm ready. I'll wait until when I feel ready. Being red V is not a feeling. It's a
decision. And if you're somebody who does not make fast decisions, you're wasting so much time and energy. So whether you whether it's about level up or something else, anything in your life, just remember that Indecision is still a decision. And being an indecision takes up so much of your energy, so much of your mental space. So much of your time and effort and energy is spent on flipping between these, you've got to learn to be a decision maker and to trust
yourself. And that Napoleon Hill quote, which I love so much, he says successful people make decisions fast and change their mind, little and unsuccessful people make decisions slow and change their mind often. And that just stuck with me. And so I would say either way, whether it's about level up or not just make a decision as my pop would say shit or get off the pot. I love that one. So she don't get off the pot, make a decision and move on, put it to bed because you have to feel an instant
shift. You feel an instant shift when you've made a decision because you've freed up energetic and mental capacity. And so I'm just going to leave you with that, regardless of whether it's level up or anything in your life. Learn to be a fucking good decision maker. And how you become a good decision maker is you know what it is you're going towards what it is you want. And then you just make decisions which filter and align with that. And that's why we start with Dream Life
