David Hill was born into an impoverished English family and shipped to Australia without his mother when he was just 12, and against considerable odds one of Australia's most influential businessmen and sports administrators. He is now a prolific author and has just released his eighth book - The Fair and the Foul - which details the colourful 150-year history of Australian sport.
