Hey, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi Hi, Hi, roomies, we are calling a loft meeting. My favorite thing to do. My favorite thing to do is to do these loft meetings with you. And they don't exist without you. So thank you for sending in your emails, your videos, your voice nows, your photos, all your weird questions and theories. That's what makes these loft meetings happen. Okay, first we have an email from Laura. Hi, guys, I adore New Girl, my first ever comfort show and the pod that helps

me get through the day. Well, that's nice writing in for the first time. Is I feel super qualified to help you with your question about adults dating when they work in schools. My name is Laura. I'm from England and have worked in a lot of different schools. Let me tell you, oh, Laura, I feel this. Let meet juicy. Let me tell you they are wild. It's worse than high school stafford dating each other and sleeping together and having affairs everywhere you look. It's a weird phenomenon, but

one that mostly stays hidden from students. I have been saying this, of course. It is. It's like, you know, teachers are like wonderful and caring and and young, and they're put in this you know space where they're meeting other young, caring adults. And if they're both single, I mean it makes sense that teachers would end up with each other. Keep saying this, Okay. I never really got into any of that, but did meet my partner when we both worked in a school. Our colleague set is

up and I met the love of my life. We have both moved into different jobs, but for a while I used to love going to work, even though it was a horrendous job. Because of him. We would play around in a non obvious way, share lunches, and stay late to finish work together. He made every day so special and I think it proved our love as I would happily spend all day at home and work with him.

This is so sweet. We thought we were being super secret and hid this, but then one day our office haed men left a relationship disclosure form on our desks. Apparently everyone knew. All we had to do was sign a form declaring our relationship, what it was, how long it had been going on. I can imagine this part is awkward if you break up or don't know what you are like coach. Yeah, are we dating? Are we not? Are we just hanging out? What's going on? It's a

lot more common than you think. I know a lot of staff who end up marrying each other. I hope this help. Thank you for always bringing joy to my day. Take care of Laura, Laura. This was very helpful. It also was very validating because this is what I think is happening in a lot of schools, and I'm okay

with it. I'm all right with it. I guess I'm also only all right with it in this sense that these are like true love relationship that don't in anyway, you know, cause a teacher to be really upset seeing their ex around school where they're also supposed to be teaching children. So I can, I guess, get complicated if I think it all the way through. But in my romantic brain, it just seems lovely, all right. Our next

email is from Darcy. Hi, Hannah, I know you love when cats and babies are named after New New Girl characters. What about a bishop? What? I work for a Catholic church. My former boss and good friend became a bishop a few years ago. I was used to calling him a far dave. I assume Friar does it for Friar Dave, but I didn't know what to call him with his new position. He insists on just Dave now that he's

not my boss. But I can't do that. Bishop Dave feels weird and Bishop she doesn't want to say his last name, so it's been redacted. Feels too formal for a friend. So my husband suggested Davy the Bitch, and it has stuck. He hasn't seen this show, but he thought the name was fun. Oh my gosh, Davy the Bisch. You gotta watch New Girl. You got to. There's not a lot of bishes around. It's also a great nickname,

David the Bisch. What do you do a bishop? It feels like Winston would lose his mind if he knew that they were bishops now that were inspired by his nickname. That would be like a Winston love thing in an instant. I love this and I love this suggestion. This is what I'm telling you, the power of television shows to infiltrate into real life and to change and shift and move things in different areas of the world and different workplaces.

Say that you would never think I would never think that New girl would help to generate nicknames in the Catholic church. I love this so much. Thank you, Darcy. All right, this is from Marita from Brisbane, Australia. Hi, Hannah and Lamore, and I was listening to an oldish episode of the podcast the other day. By the way, I love that. I love that people even go back and re listen to the podcast, not just rewatch the show. You like her episode so much? Thank you. It's very

sweet because we work very hard on them. I was listening to an oldish episode of the podcast the other day and Hannah mentioned that you see so many cats named Winston come through, but rarely any CC cats. I wanted to introduce to two or three year old baby Cecilia, often pronounced Chia and a terrible Italian accent, just like Schmidt in episode one. She is sweet, fun, resilient and loyal, just like Ceci. Thank you for the show on the podcast. I know you hear this a lot, but it truly

is a lifesaver for some people. Sincerely, Marita, Brisbane, Australia. There's something about I've talked about this a bunch, which is why you guys send it in, But there is something about the naming of a baby or a pet after the characters of the show, or like from us, from actors, like there's Zoe Kats and Hannah Kats and

you know, you know Lamarne Dogs. It's very sweet. It's a really wonderful thing that people have just connected to the show so much and loved it, and that we've become part of like the extended family, that they name a family member after us. I don't think there's like a greater honor that anybody could ever give. Anyone's very very sweet, so I appreciate that. And there's a picture

she's like a snowy gray cat. I also love the fact that you I think, I think this is what you were saying, that you adopted her at three years old, or maybe you got her when she was little and named her because the show's been around for a while named for Cecilia. Then I don't know if it's recent. My my brother just adopted a cat that was one years old. I always think it's nice when people adopt cats that are a little bit older and give them

a home that's really lovely. I so appreciate you listening to this podcast for participating in it. For sending in videos and these pictures and telling us your stories. I feel wonderful knowing that teachers are falling in love and following their hearts. Just don't make it messy. Yeah. Thanks, another great Loft meeting you guys. I appreciate it. I appreciate you. Make sure you tune in every Tuesday for
