61. Think before you crush it (sorry Gary V)

The phrase 'crushing it' has become part of the entrepreneurs lexicon. It's sounds great when Gary V says it, but should you?

So many of the hashtags we share and the words we use are just everyone following everyone else - and incredibly masculine. But the answer isn’t to adopt powder-pink as your brand colours or use the hashtag #bossbabe either. The businesses that are going to survive any kind of big or small economic shake up are the ones who aren’t me-too businesses, but are leading by doing things differently. Business isn't a war, a competition or a hunt. This episode challenges us to think and behave differently - as women and men, and not just blindly follow the rules of patriarchy.
