What People Think Poem

I’ve spent my entire life worrying about what people think about me, only to finally realize that everyone is too preoccupied with thinking about themselves. But, once the seed of worthlessness has been planted inside of someone’s mind, it’s a downhill battle from there. When we worry about what people think of us, it becomes a weapon of destruction to our self-esteem, and it affects other vital areas of our lives in ways we may never truly understand. Growing up, it didn’t dawn on me that what I think about myself and what God thinks of me matters above all others.
