In conversation with our first guest, Dr. Sharjeel Ahmad who is currently working as faculty in the Infectious Diseases Section of the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Peoria (UICOMP) Department of Medicine. He is currently the director of Positive Health Solutions, a UICOMP-owned clinic that provides a vast array of services for persons who are living with HIV/AIDS. He completed a Masters in Public Health from Creighton University, Omaha, NE. His clinical and research interests include, but are not limited to, HIV, viral hepatitis, Tropical Medicine, Global Health, and General Infectious Diseases.
