Shaking up Washington, d C.
We're breaking the fever.
Do you ever watch this guy on television?
It's like a machine.
He's great. Matt Gates, Welcome to The Matt Gates Show.
I'm Vish Burah, a producer on the show, and I'll be your guest host tonight. While Matt Gates is on assignment, tensions are flaring between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir po. The pair of leaders have traded barbs in recent days after Russia unleashed its largest drone attack since the inception of the Ukraine War in February of twenty twenty two. Over the weekend, Russia launched nearly three hundred and seventy drones and missiles into Ukraine, killing at least twelve people.
Trump responded to the attacks, saying Putin has gone absolutely crazy.
I'm not happy with what Putin's doing. He's killing a lot of people, and I don't know what the hell happened to Putin. I've known him a long time, always gotten along with him. But he's sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don't like it at all. Okay, we're in the middle of talking and he's cheating rockets into Kiev and other cities. But he's killing people, and something happened to this guy, and I.
Don't like it.
The Kremlin discounted Trump's comments, accusing him of being emotional, Yet Putin also reject Trump's push to have the next round of peace talks at the Vatican. President Trump fired back with a truth social post today, saying, quote, what Vladimir Putin doesn't realize is that if it weren't for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean really bad.
He's playing with fire.
While President Trump is growing frustrated over the lack of progress to end the war in Ukraine, he is signaling optimism with his trade negotiations with the European Union. Trump said the EU wants to meet for trade talks and he agreed to delay the fifty percent tariff until July ninth. Trump called this a positive event after the EU had been slow walking negotiations. Meanwhile, in the China front of the trade war, the administration has signaled that a deal has.
Been reached on that as well.
That would signal a major victory for the president, as it would be a keystone deal which would allow the rest of the trade dominoes to fall into place. The President is dealing with all these issues abroad while still battling against the judicial coup in America that is hell bent on thwarting his deportation efforts. On Monday, Biden appointed US District Judge Brian Murphy accused the Trump administration of violating his due process orders by trying to send a
group of illegals to South Sudan. The judge claims the administration is manufacturing the very chaos they decry here to provide the White House perspective on all these battlefronts is Deputy Press Secretary and Special Assistant to the President, Harrison Fields. Harrison, thank you so much for joining. Thank you for having me all right, Harrison, The media is a buzz right now about the latest strikes in Ukraine by Vladimir Putin and President Trump's response on truth Social.
What's the plan of action.
Now that it seems that Putin and Zlynsky seems to be escalating the engagement instead of discussing the peace talks. President Trump is trying so hard to see to the finish line.
Yes, well, you said it clearly that the President is trying hard and he's going to be relentless in his pursuit. And the national security team that he's assembled, the best national security team that this White House has ever seen, is committed to the President's objective objectives here, which is to end this war once and for all. This is not going to be an easy process. You have two leaders that are not committed to the same goal as
the president. The President's been very clear on his Truth Social that he has concerns with both parties here, but we are going to remain committed to making sure this war ends. The President talks about it so often. We have five thousand men dying a week in this war
that has to end. The President is committed to doing so, and he often reminds the American people and the world that this would have never happened if he was the if he was president when Joe I was here, because that incompetence of the previous administration led to a world on fire. Look no further than the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
You know, there's been just chaos all over the world, especially on this foreign policy front, but there's been some of this chaos on the trade front too. You know, there's been talks that a tariff deal has been reached with China. Is that real And how far along is that deal so far? And when can we see or expect its implementation.
Yes, well, there's always gonna be a lot of chatter on the internet, and I would tell people if they want the latest news on tariffs, look no further than truth social when you hear it directly from the President of the United States.
The one thing he's been.
Crystal clear about is whether, as well as his masterful trade team, is that countries are basically barging down the doors of the White House to get a meeting to make sure that they get a deal with the deal maker in chief, President Donald J.
Trump.
We have companies and countries investing in America at record levels, over ten trillion dollars in investment commitments already. That is precisely because of the President's tariff policies, which is bringing investment back to this country. We have a workforce that can sustain it. We have the companies here that are willing and able to expand we encourage them to do so. We want American made goods once again. This is exactly
what these trade policies are doing. And the one thing I'll say about the progress of these negotiations that we've made historic efforts and advancements in making sure that we get these deals across the finish line. You saw that with the UK, you will see that with many other countries forthcoming announcements, to be sure, but we are making tremendous leaps and bounds when it comes to the President's trade policies.
You know, before I get to the injunctions, I do want to ask you about this policy that's breaking that President Trump and the admin is suspending student visas all across the world at embassies. Tell us about that move and why is that move important now?
Well, it's so important because we've seen people hijack our generosity when it comes to our student visa program. If you come to the United States and want to divide us, if you want to cause chaos in our communities based off of the rhetoric and radical ideology that you're bringing to a country that you were not born in, that you do not have residency in. You are a temporary visitor seeking an education. If you want to come here and try to stir up division and divisiveness, you are
not going to be welcome. We are taking an assessment of everybody that we're letting into this country. The State Department has been very clear about what their intentions here. We want to make sure that we are not letting in radical propagandists in this country, and we want to make sure we have the best and brightest coming to
American schools. We've seen the devastating impact of anti Semitic protests, mainly from students at Ivy League campuses, some of whom are also foreign born people who are here on student visas. We need to make sure that we're restons or in the majesty of our higher education facilities and making sure that this immigration policy is smart, because what the previous administration did was reckless, lawless, and created a devastating reality that this president is now having to clean up.
You know, speaking of lawless, there are these district judges across America that have gone wild with injunctions on all sorts of actions from the Trump admin from foreign policy to domestic policy, especially with deportations. What is the action plan that the White House has to deal with these injunctions and what can the public expect moving forward in these legal battles.
Well, the action plan has been one that's been extremely decisive, and we haven't relented in our pursuit for the constitution to prevail in this matter. The Constitution is very clear. You know, your viewers know, very educated people that the Constitution affords this president his Article two Responsibilities and powers to be the chief executive of the Executive Branch that is written in the United States Constitution, which has governed
this country since its founding. Why we have radical judges who are now putting together these nationwide injunctions trying to hamstring this president from enacting in constitutional authorities is something that is not just head scratching. It's a constitutional crisis. We have done everything possible to fight this in the courts. This issue is now in the Supreme Court, where we think we will find a favorable ruling forthcoming because this
could not stand. You cannot have a judge in Hawaii talk about or give rulings that are going to impact people in Connecticut. We cannot have a judge in Maine dictate policy in my home state of Florida. So we are fighting this in the courts. We do think the Supreme Court will rule favorably, but the American people should know that this president, this administration is not going to allow these radical judges to tramp on the constitution the way they've been doing.
So.

Tonight, we confront a scandal so grave it threatens the very foundation of our republic, the Biden Autopen scandal. What began as whispers of bureaucratic overreach has exploded into a constitutional crisis, with the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project uncovering evidence that could unravel the legitimacy of our government's actions. This isn't just about a machine signing documents. It's about who was really running the country and whether our democracy was
hijacked by unelected operatives. The Oversight Project's bombshell findings revealed that thirty two of President Joe Biden's fifty seven clemency warrants affecting over four thousand individuals, were signed using an autopen, a device that replicates a signature without the president's direct involvement.
These weren't routine proclamations. They included sweeping preemptive pardons for the Biden's family, political allies like doctor Anthony Fauci and General Mark Milly, and members of the January sixth Committee like now Senator Adam Schiff. The same auto pen signature appeared on nearly every executive order and major document, except, curiously, Biden's twenty twenty four election withdrawal letter. This raises a chilling question was Biden even aware of these actions, or
were unelected staffers wielding his authority like a blank check. Worse, allegations have surfaced that Biden aids, including names like Ron Klain, Anita Dunn, and Bob Bauer, we're not just using the auto pen, but may have been selling access to it,
pedaling pardons like commodities in a DC flea market. DOJ Pardon attorney Ed Martin came on our show recently to explain the latest from a whistleblower who claims these gatekeepers profited from controlling Biden's signature while he was, as evidence suggests, in significant mental decline.
What you know, what I was told was about who was really in control in the White House. And you know I've had concerns, Matt, I've expressed him for almost three months about the competence of Joe Biden when it comes to whether we had valid pardons. What I've heard, and I mentioned some of the names, I think they're well known names. Ron Klain is one. Also the Bob Bauer and his wife Anita Dunne are key players in this. Obviously Jill Biden.
The mental decline isn't speculation. Recordings from Special counsel Robert Hurst twenty twenty three interview with Shoe Biden struggling to recall basic details, raising doubts about his capacity to authorize these actions.
Where did you keep papers that related to those things that you were actively working?
I don't know what was happening, thought Boe die Gotten fifteen. What's happened in the meantime is that.
Has and.
Hump gets elected in November of twenty seventeen, sixteen, twenty sixteen, so a year.
So why does this all matter?
The Constitution vests the pardon power solely in the president, a non deligable authority meant to reflect the will of the elected leader. If unelected staffers were forging Biden's signature to issue pardons, potentially for personal gain, they bypass the democratic process, effectively staging a shadow presidency.
This isn't just a scandal, it's.
A betrayal of the American people, undermining the rule of law and the checks and balances that define our republic. If pardons can be bought and sold, what's to stop the erosion of every other presidential power. House Oversight Chairman James Comer is now demanding answers, issuing subpoenas to Biden physician and aids like near Tanden and Andy Thomasini to uncover who controlled the auto pen and why the stakes
couldn't be higher. If these allegations are true, we face a precedent where unelected bureaucrats can usurp presidential authority, rendering our votes meaningless. This isn't about partisan point scoring. It's about ensuring no one Democrat or Republican can exploit a president's incapacity to subvert our democracy.
America.
We must demand transparency before this shadow governance becomes the norm, threatening the.
Republic we hold dear.
Joining us now is the president of the Oversight Project, Mike hal Mike Let's start where exactly the overside project is with this autopen scandal. What have you found and what you're organizing actioning so far? And is there any recourse to flip the act of this auto pen.
Oh, there's a ton of recourse, and we've mapped out exactly what the Department of Justice and Congress both can do. But what we've done thus far is, first we discovered this whole massive scandal is one of many lines of inquiry, litigation, investigation we had into Biden's competency and I could talk about that all night long because he was pretty clearly
incompetent and broken for a long time. But last summer we started looking into the actual signatures, discovered the reliance on the autopen device a couple months ago, put our findings out there right now. Our call has been on the Department of Justice to charge those with the fraudulent, no good, funky broken pardons with the crimes that they committed. So I'm talking about the January sixth committee members, Anthony Fauci, the Biden family members, and so it's ONDJ to charge
the criminals and test those pardons. Also, Congress needs to call in all those people involved. President Trump can wave executive privilege for them and we could start getting answers to the American people. But we're pushing all levels. We've ensued the Department of Justice last week to see if there was any kind of memoranda concerning the use of the auto pen during the Biden administration. We're not stopping.
That's good to hear, But how many people in total do you think had access to the autopen and who do you think used it most significantly?
So it is an infinitely noble answer to that, because the way this works is there's a delegation as to who can access an autopen device and traditionally in the White House, and then there are logs of who actually used it. So let's pretend for a minute that the Biden administration was complying with that, and that's not a sure thing whatsoever that information can be gotten out there.
I think we're likely looking at a small universe and basically a committee of staffers and then outside influences that ultimately controlled the Biden administration, to include members of his family. Anita Dunn's name has been mentioned, Bob Bauer, Steve Rischetti, kind of the Biden inside handlers, and then you had the White House staff that may have played a role or nearly been an instrument in this corrupt endeavor to pretend that we had a president when we actually did not know.
Are there any consequential executive orders that were also suspiciously signed by this auto pen?
Absolutely, I mean there's so many that just are against the American interests. But for the ones that I think should raise the most suspicion, you just have to follow the money. We know that the Bidens and their corrupt hanger ons profited immensely from a lot of things that were happening in foreign affairs. Think of Ukraine, So I'm looking at some of the executive orders as they related to that conflict over there. Think of the CCPs basically
ownership stake in the Biden family. I mean, the Bidens were owned in part by the CCP, so I'd be looking at executive actions that relate to China. The only convenient thing for us now is that President Trump can just undo the bad executive orders, But that still doesn't answer for the damage that quote unquote Joe Biden did via those executive orders.
Then you know, I call this scandal a republic ethnic event. Do you agree that this is how grave and serious the scandal is for our country right now, particularly the allegations that.
The power of the pen was for sale.
Yeah, I think this severely diminishes, you know, confidence in our form of government. I mean, our form government rests on an election that best tremendous power in one dividual as the president. The twenty twenty election was already an absolute sham. People don't trust it and for good reason. And then as an outcome of that, we didn't have an individual basically acting as the president. We had corrupt
influences running the country. And so it really lifts the mask on what we like to outwardly as a country present ourselves to be, and that is a you know, advanced constitutional republic. And despite all of the leftist kind of you know, claims of a tax on democracy, I don't think our country's ever seen something that's been so out of order with what we're supposed to be. And it's not just the politicians, it's the corrupt media and the protections we give them through the First Amendment in
this country. I mean, you look at the role of Axios and CNN, who two of their reporters now in Alex Thompson and Jake Tapper are monetizing to cover up by promoting their book. And then you take a closer look at Axios and it really looks more like a NASCAR with all of its corporate sponsorships than anything approaching a journalistic endeavor. And so I think we got a long way to go in this country to realizing the
full promise of the constitutional order. And I hope that this autopen scandal can have the whole country take an honest look at how far off track we got.
Mike hal the president of the Oversight Project, thank you so much for joining us.
Thanks for having me on.

There a chance that were made during apartheid that he's utilizing as something that was made over false claims of mass deaths, mass grades, and genocide against white africaners that is actually incorrect.
Unexpectedly played videos that mister Trump said proved his allegations that South Africa is committing genocide against white farmers.
There.
The South African delegation pushed back, denying the debunct claim.
There's a small fringe group in this country of right wing conspirators who push a false narrative of a white genocide that's simply not true. As one Africana commentators.
Sit in a nearby village home to farm workers residents, was shocked by false claims this was the site of a white genocide, No white jedocide.
That was the line pounded by the mainstream outlets in the wake of the meeting that took place with South African President Cyril Ramaposa in the Lions Den known as.
Trump's White House.
Instead of discussing the merits of the claims made by President Trump at that meeting. The media pounced on President Trump playing a few videos for the South African president.
A diplomatic meeting turned ambush. America's Donald Trump makes incendury comments about what it's like to be a white farmer in South Africa.
It seemed that mister Trump came to the office with the full understanding that there will be this ambush of the President Ramafosam Trump meeting with the President of South Africa and attempting to ambush and humiliate that leader inside the Oval office.
South Africa's president also jumped on the bandwagon, completely dismissing eff leader Julius Maleayma's call to kill the white farmers.
You know, that's slogan, the boo pill the farmer is a liberation chant and slogan, and it's not meant to be a message that elicits or calls upon anyone to go and be killed. And that is what our court decided. So they will probably want to arrest people, willy nilly. We follow the dictates of our constitution because we are a constitutional state and we are a country where freedom of expression is the bedrock of our constitutional arrangement.
Freedom of expression. That's funny.
I want to use this historic moment to illustrate a concept called a narco tyranny. Narco tyranny describes a state where law enforcement fails to maintain order, allowing crime and chaos to fester, while authorities simultaneously impose heavy restrictions on law by the citizens. This concept is becoming reality and has become more evident to Americans over the course of the last decade, seming from the Ferguson riots under Obama to the Summer of Love in twenty twenty to the
Tesla burnings that you see today. An arco tyranny describes a state where governments neglect core duties like curbing crime or securing borders, while cracking down on citizens through over regulation, censorship, and mass mandates. South Africa is a prime example of a narco tyranny as a governing ideology. The staggering murder rate of forty five people per one hundred thousand compared to America's six point five people per one hundred thousand.
The United States, however, is quickly trying to keep.
Pace, to the chagrin of everybody.
There's been a seventy percent surge in US murders from twenty fourteen to twenty twenty. That's before Biden took over the presidency in twenty twenty one. One is the United States sliding faster than ever into an Arco tyranny. Joining me now is the co founder of American Tribune, Will Tanner. In his latest piece, the South Africanization of America is just beginning, and he discusses it in detail. Will, thanks for joining Walk me through this piece and make your case.
Why is America backsliding into what you call South Africanization and why it's just the beginning.
Yeah, this, Thanks for having me on.
So my basic case in the piece is that South Africa is a crystal ball. It allows us to see what's coming next if we continue on this path. There are two basic elements to what I call the South Africanization of America. The first is an Arco tyranny, or the idea that you know, citizens are closely regulated by their government while criminals are allowed basically free reign by
the same government. The other aspect of it is the total dysfunction both economic governmental that's caused by race comm meanism, or the idea that the government has this mandate for enforced racial egalitarianism that needs to make outcomes equal between all races, particularly to the disadvantage of whites. So you see this clearly in South Africa where they have both the narco tyranny angle of these farm attacks, ninety five percent of which go unsolved and the killers are often
aided by the government. That's why you see those military grades signal jammers. And in South Africa they have a huge problem with carjackings, the like I legal mining gangs, squatters taking over farms, empowered by the government as they do so, and the state heavily regulates economic activity with black economic empowerment laws. Unfortunately, you're seeing the same in
arco tyranny issue in America. Here we've had trendy Aragua takeover swaths of cities, squatters, some of them I legal aliens, takeover houses, no cash bail policies, turning violent criminals back out on the streets, and even the unsolved crime problem is an issue here. Kansas City, for example, has just a thirty three percent homicide clearance rate at least of twenty twenty three, and sadly, there's the murder aspect too.
If you look at the slangs of Ethan Liming, John and Jonathan Lewis and Austin Metcalf, along with countless.
Others, it's quite similar.
Sadly, so we do have the inarco tyranny part, and our lives are heavily regulated as these criminals do whatever they want. The second aspect is the race communism part, causing massive economic dysfunction in South Africa s COM for example, because a Bee is unable to hire white employees, mostly enrolling. Blackouts are common there. The water utility has the same problem. Copper cable theft is out of the control. Adding to
the issues its airlines, water utilities, rail lines. All of that is messes too, and it really gets to this Bee issue, this race communism issue. In America, sadly, we're seeing much the same thing. According to Bloomberg in twenty twenty one, just six percent of new jobs went to white Americans.
Disparate Impact law which is the law.
Of the land in America and makes it prima facie discriminatory and thus illegal to have employment tests that cause disparate outcomes between racial groups. All of that has led to this war on competence that has really made America experience similar economic government dysfunction to what you see in
South Africa. So if you look at those trend lines that are very much pointed in the wrong direction, and the same sort of things that causing that dysfunction in South Africa are causing it in America quite sadly.
So you mentioned race communism.
You know, why is it so important for the media and the ruling party in South Africa to say a genocide of white people is not happening. Why is that such a non starter for them.
Yeah, So the pifthy answer is because they want it to happen here. The more involved answer is that South Africa's dysfunction, particularly in the massive level of crime you see that's effectively a genocide, is proving the myth of the Rainbow nation wrong. So if you look at South Africa's history, you have really the American government insisting that Mandela be made president. Mandela was a communist terrorist who founded a terror group called the MK and he was
in jail because of that. He helped the group carry out attacks by helping plan them while he was in prison. He was then released and put in charge. By nineteen ninety four. So the idea that he was going to create this paradise is just insane, But it was very much the message push that Mandela was going to turn South Africa, which was this backwards racist place, into some Kumbai post racial state that was quite nice. Was insane, but it was the message pushed by the government. And
the genocide in South Africa is proving that wrong. It's proving the Rainbow Nation myth to just be completely made up. And what's the issue with that is they can't say that because they want the same thing to happen here. They want to bring that race communism here for the same purposes of revenge, power and wealth and extraction. That is why they're doing it in South Africa. That's why Mandela's terrorist path this past is hidden.
Excuse me.
It's why he's been grafted onto the American and civil rights movement as a hero, and it's why they're now so unwilling to admit the genocide that's going on in South Africa. And make no mistake, if you look at the intentional destruction of African or cultural cultural heritage and current culture along with the myrdle of them, there is a genocide going on and that's why they're hiding it.
It's because they want it to happen here. And that's very clear if you look at their rhetoric, their actions, and their ideology, along with what they've done to cover up the current crimes of South Africa and the crimes of Mandela.
You know, the africaners in South Africa are facing down expropriation of property without compensation. Now we know the ruling party has leftist, communist sympathies, but it seems to me that they're more animated by this element of anti whiteness more than anything.
Is that true and is.
That the same anti whiteness element prevalent in the American left and the Democratic Party today?
Yes, this is absolutely true.
It's important to note that the ANC's current plan for land expropriation is quite similar to what Mugabe did in the early two thousands to steal the land of white farmers in Zimbabwe. It's the same thing, more or less in health. The government will affect it and it's for the same reason, which is they want revenge. They hate
this idea of colonialism. Having built the country and the Africaners were the ones who settled South Africa, particularly the Western Cape, when there's next no one there, and the current government hates that, it hates the idea that they built that, and it wants to destroy it. It wants revenge, and so that's what you're seeing with the land expropriation. It's this final step in revenge where they're going to completely purge the Bores from the country because bor means farmer.
The farmland is their roots, their cultural identity, so taking it will be a complete genocide of them.
It will do away with them completely.
Sadly, if you look at America, much the same is true here, with that anti white racism, that anti colonial bias being the basic basis of what they're doing. A fabulous book on this is Jeremy Carl's The Unprotected Class. If you just look at what they're doing, it's motivated by anti white racism.
And you know, I want to get to that that it's happening in America because in your piece you list a particularly eye popping allegation that the USDA had made forty two thousand payments to random black Americans as part of a reparations program enshrined in Biden's Inflation Reduction Act. Are there already are like reparations already the law in America.
Yes they are.
There was a bit of puffery there, it wasn't completely random, but other than that, it's entirely spot on. The reparations program was a USDA one created by section twenty two zero zero seven of the Inflation Reduction Act. If you want to look it up, it's called the Discrimination Financial Assistance Program, and through it, reparations could be asked for through January thirteenth of twenty twenty four if a farmer claimed that USDA refusal to give them a low interest
loan had led to the loss of their farmland. So between forty two thousand and forty three thousand, primarily black farmers were given reparations as part of the program. Around two billion was paid out. And Congress had initially tried to make it and make a program like this that was entirely for blacks, no other races could be considered.
That was struck down, so they made it technically racially neutral, and some Hispanic and Native American Americans did get grant or payments through it, but it was almost entirely for Black Americans, and unfortunately it's not unlike South Africa's similar programs of taking land, taxing things and giving it to black farmers. It is a form of equity. So, yes, we do have reparations. Yes, it wasn't trying in the law. Yes it was quite extensive.
Will Tanner of the American Tribune, thank you so much for informing our viewers of what's really going on in our country.
Thank you very much for having me on.

The twenty sixteen presidential campaign in the United States is often to as the Great Meme War. Coming off the heels of the gamer Gate scandal, a new contingent of recently red pilled Americans, mostly young men, decided to use comedy and creativity to wage information warfare against the Clinton campaign and the establishment at large.
Many people say.
This directly contributed to President Trump's victory later that year. Plenty of people talk about the heroes and veterans of the Great Meme War and the victories they engineered into reality, but few talk about the price some of those Great Meme War heroes had to pay for our freedom to be funny and play jokes online. One of the most prolific posters of that war was Douglas Mackeie. Veterans of the war may remember him better by his Twitter account
and call sign Ricky Vaughan. During the twenty sixteen presidential election circus, Mackie, with his Ricky vaugh account, got under the skin of the establishment school marms like no other, with fifty eight thousand followers and an MIT media lab ranking as the one hundred and seventh most influential election voice above Stephen Colbert. His most famous and most consequential posts was this, a meme telling Hillary Clinton supporters they can vote by texting Hillary to a random number, avoid
the line vote from home. It said, complete with Clinton's logo and hashtags like I'm with her. Estimates say some forty nine hundred people fell for it, texting away their votes like they're ordering pizza. If people thought that they could genuinely vote by texts, I think a serious question to ask is whether those people should have been allowed to vote by any method in the first place. Fast forward to twenty twenty one, and Biden's doj were not laughing.
They arrested Mackie, charging him with conspiracy against rights under an eighteen seventies law meant to stop the KKK from voter intimidation, from hooded thugs to Twitter trolls.
That's quite the legal leap.
In March of twenty twenty three, a jury from the People's Republic of Brooklyn, where I was born and went to high school and college, convicts him, saying his memes crossed from satire to voter suppression. The judge and Donnelly called it an assault on democracy and slaps him with seven months in prison.
Seven months for means.
Meanwhile, my uncle's still dodging jury duty with fake doctors. Note, but there's more. Mackie's out on bond. Appealed to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in December twenty twenty three. They granted his release pending appeal, with oral arguments heard in April of twenty twenty four. No ruling yet, But the larger implications of this prosecution remain free speech or felony. The Harvard Law Reviews sweating over it, worrying about a
chilling effect on memes. So will martyr of the memoirs, Douglas Mackie walk free or will he head back into the slammer for his supreme meme capabilities? And here with us now is Douglas Mackie, the author of the Douglas Mackie's newsletter. Douglas, what's the latest on the legal proceedings of your case?
Bitch?
Thanks for having me on. This case is going on almost five years now, and I'm still a little bit stuck in legal limbo. It's going on fourteen months. I'm waiting for the Second Circuit Court to issue his decision, which could come down any day.
Now.
You know, this whole thing seems like a Kafka esque force initiated with malice and cruel intentions. But maybe that gives these people too much credit. Do you think the whole prosecution has any merits or do you think that this happened because you're one of the most effective social media messengers of a generation.
I don't think the prosecution had any merit at all. They came after me because I was effectively. I was effective in supporting President Trump, and really they knocked me off first, and then they went after all those J six ers, and then they came after the man himself, President Trump. So this was all about taking chess pieces off the board, which is essentially what they want. They
wanted to do, and they still want to do. They still are plotting to prosecute Trump and all of his supporters if God forbid, something bad happens in twenty twenty eight.
Yeah, you know, what are the implications for free speech though? If these courts deny your appeal.
Well, exactly. First of all, they can basically lock anyone up for a speech based on it's a conspiracy against someone's rights. Well, I mean, what does that entail If I, you know, light to someone about the Second Amendment or anything else like that, are they going to get locked up? It's really a slippery slope here that really infringes on satire and protests and jokes. If I tell, if I, who's to judge if something's a joke or not? I mean,
who's to judge if something is serious? We see this kind of satire all the time, and yet it seems like only one side is prosecuted for it.
You know when you mentioned that one side is only prosecuted for it. Let's talk about the Russia hoax. Is the Russia hoax also a meme? And should there be a penal action taken against the perpetrators of it? If the courts do deny your appeal?
Absolutely, the Russia thing is just a meme. It's a hoax. My case originated from a committee with Senator Klobuchar on quote unquote Russian interference in the election, so that Russia had to be posting these kind of memes on the internet, right, So I went under investigation partially because they said, oh,
this could be a Russian influence campaign. We've seen Toby go and say the most craziest things on MSNBC recently, you know, saying that Trump supporters are all a bunch of white supremacists and the law needs to change and they need to come after us. And so that's exactly what they're planning on. And this all originated with the Russia hoax one hundred percent, and they need to go down for it or else they're going to try this thing all over again in the next couple of years.
The legendary Douglas Mackie, thank you so much for joining the program tonight.
Thanks for having me ONVISH.

Tonight, we're zooming in on the New York Young Republican Club, a century old bastion of Republican culture and tradition. When we say grand old Party, the New York Young Republican Club is that party, literally and figuratively, and it carries with it the story of the evolution of the Republican Party itself, drawing a straight line from Abraham Lincoln to President Donald Trump today. In twenty nineteen, the club was reborn as a MAGA battle tank under the leadership of
seventy six president of the Club Gavin Wax. I had the honor and privilege of serving as vice president and executive secretary of the club during Wax's tenure. The rebirth of the club resembled less West Wing and.
More Wolf of Wall Street.
Back in twenty nineteen, the New York Young Republican Club was on life support, fifty members, no clubhouse and a vibe that screamed establishment Snoozefest. Then came along Gavin Wax from Queens and Long Island and myself a software guy turned meme lord from Staten Island. We didn't just join the club, We took it over, and we took it over without firing a single shot, paying homage to the
British taking over Manhattan from Peter Stuyvesant. The takeover was widely panned among the party establishment, with some saying that the barbarians have sacked the city. Little did they know at the time, we were just getting started. Under Wax's administration, membership skyrocketed from fifty to almost eighteen hundred members as of today, with a midtown clubhouse decked out in leather
couches and Kellyan and Conaway books. We discarded stale GOP talking points to instead flood the zone with provocative events and speeches, like our infamous Forbidden Galo of twenty twenty featuring Matt Gates. We pushed the limits of COVID and their rules in Jersey City, which led to this hilarious response by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy from.
The New York Young Republican Club that allegedly snuck into Jersey City last night to hold a gala fundraiser after they couldn't find a venue in their own city due to the pandemic. So from the videos on social media and certainly this picture, there is no obvious attempt to enforce social distancing face masks. That guy in the middle of the tall, handsome fell in the gray suit that
is representative Matt Putts. Oh sorry, Matt Gates, And based on his past performances, it is obvious being a knucklehead is not beyond the pale for him. What a fool he and they should be ashamed of themselves. He is not welcome. I hope you're watching, Matt. You are not welcome in New Jersey, and frankly, I don't ever want you back in this state.
In twenty twenty three, we ended up hosting President Trump at our historic gala where he kicked off his historic twenty twenty four run into the Iowa primaries. His speech in Manhattan that night signaled he would campaign in New York, and with our help, the New York Young Republican Club helped organize his Harlem Bodega visit, his steam Fitters Union visit in Midtown, his historic rally in the Bronx, with the crowning event being the famous rally at Madison Square Garden.
The club's effort to spread the virtue of populism didn't stop in New York County. New York City, being the metropolitan envy of the world, helped attract global interests in the club. Has helped forge ties with groups in Europe from Hungary to Germany, turning the club into a global MAGA embassy. Under Wax, the New York Young Republican Club exemplified the remaking of the Republican Party in the image of bold, working class conservatism. We took a dying institution
and made it a cultural lightning rod. Gavin Wax stepped down earlier this year to join the Trump administration at the FCC, but the glow up.
Is not over yet.
Joining me now to discuss what's next for the New York Young Republican Club. Is the newest president of the New York Young Republican Club. He's the seventy seventh president in that lineage. Stefano Forte. Stefano, thanks so much for joining the program. I want to start by talking about what's your vision for the future of the New York Young Republican Club.
Well, listen, before it begin, we can't understate your role within the club. Vish You've been instrumental on the board, on the executive Committee. You've just been fantastic. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have the club that we have today. So thank you very much for your service to the club.
Vish.
The future is looking bright for the New York Young Republican Club. We're focusing on the three c's campaigns, culture, and community. We're going to be getting more Republicans elected. We're going to be making sure that we have TV ready members. We live in the largest media market in the world, so we've got to make sure that we're affecting the culture and lastly, community. We want to make it open for people to say that they are a
Republican in New York City. And with eighteen hundred members, I think we're achieving just that.
Eighteen hundred, it's the largest club of its kind in America, perhaps in the world. You're currently in Slovenia right now. Talk about the importance of building bridges overseas with like minded individuals and organizations, specifically from a political standpoint.
Absolutely, being here in Slovenia is a great honor. I had the opportunity today to tour their capitol building, and look, they're going through a lot of the same problems that we are. The left is just as radical in Slovenia as they are in the United States. Thank god, Slovenia is sending us some of some good immigrants to the United States. One of them occupies the White House, so we had to thank them for that, Milania Trump. But
making friends overseas is critically important. We're sharing notes, We're making sure that we don't make the same mistakes that they do, and they're not making the mistakes that we do. And we're seeing what works and what doesn't. The National Populous Movement is a worldwide movement. We want to make sure that everybody is putting their own country first, because that's what the citizens of each country deserve.
Yeah, you know, I can't agree with you on that anymore. I mean, I can't agree more with you on that. A lot of the club's power has come not just from its organizational efforts to recruit members and put on a glip show, but it's also about deploying members to move votes on the ground in NYC. Considering this is a year of local elections, with the New York City mayoral races in the highlight. Which race is our priority for the club right now?
Yeah, you know, last year I got to give a big shout out to our campaign's chair, Mario Nicoletto, who's really doing God's work. Gets paid zero dollars to be our campaign's chair. Nobody in the club gets paid. It's a volunteer organization. And we went to Bucks County last year for the President, and I really believe that we delivered Bucks County for the President. We sent eighty volunteers down there. We knocked on countless doors, and we're doing
the same thing this year. We got Frank. We helped to get Frank Morano elected in southern Brooklyn. We had a bus of about fifty people going down there. I helped lead the charge on that. And now we've got inna Ernikov in Brooklyn. She is our top race. She is getting primaried by a rhino. And let me tell you something. The establishment is going hard against her. To Assemblyman Alec brook Krasny and Michael Novakov, two terrible rhinos
and I like to call them KGB. Democrats are going after na Vernikoff because she's America first, She's Maga and they can't stand it. She's one of the breakout stars in the city Council. And I just saw today that they endorsed her opponent. And let me tell you something, They've made this personal for us. We're going to be going down there and making sure we embarrass them in this primary. There's going to be nothing left by the
time we're done in Southern Brooklyn. Na Vernikoff is going to have a huge victory like she had the year before that and the year before that. So the establishment wants to get on us. The Establishment wants to go toe to toe with us. There's nobody that can beat the New York Young Republican Club when it comes to turning votes out, and there is nobody who does the ground game better than the New York Young Republican Club. So if the Establishment wants to duke it out in
Southern Brooklyn, I say, bring it up. We're gonna win at the end of the day, and you are going to lose.
I definitely believe you when you say that.
And you know, just to ask, what do you make of the Democrats field of mayoral candidates at the moment, I mean, it's shaven up to be a doozy with current Mayor Eric Adams running as an independent.
You know, what do you make of that field so far?
Look, it's really an indication of the Democrats on how bad they're doing when they have Andrew Cuomo as their front runner. They just got rid of this guy. Now they're going to try to bring him back. It's a sad state of the Democratic Party here in New York. But what I will say is I don't think that you can discount Zohran Mahmadi. You know, he really is out there knocking on doors, and I got to tell you, I don't think Andrew Cuomo has the real support that
he's claiming he does. I'm very curious to see who comes out at the end of this. But at the end of the day, this is just a circus to see who's the most radical clown. And I'm sure that they're going to pick someone terrible out of the Democratic primary. But look, the Socialists right now, they feel like they have the momentum. And Andrew Cuomo is going to have
to use those bucks to push back. But what I can tell you is they're going to have to go toe to toe with the New York and Republican Club post primary.
Stefano Forte, the seventy seventh president of the New York Young Republican Club.
Thank you so much for joining.
Thank you very much of issue the Man.
And that's all the time we have. Be sure to sign up for OAN Live if you haven't already. Just go to o ann dot com, follow me on x at vish Bura stay right there the fine Point which Chanelle Rion is up next. This is vish Bura over and out.
