Some of the most important nutrients are among the hardest to absorb. LiveOnLab's changed that by introducing the first supplements made with a liposome encapsulation technology, the goo. LiveOnLab's lipospheric supplements help my cells absorb and use the nutrients I need to nourish my nervous system, support my immune system, fight oxidative stress, maintain my cognitive

health, and produce energy. Magoo is packed with brain supporting nutrient choline and no sugar, no glycerin, no artificial flavors, or any other junk ingredients. Just the nutrients my body needs delivered in a way that I can finally absorb. When I take these, I can feel the difference. Sometimes I'm so stressed that it can be hard to absorb things and it just goes right in. Whether it's the vitamin c, the vitamin b, the glutathione, I feel

an immediate state change. That's why I go for the goo and why you should too. For listeners of this podcast only, Live On Labs is giving free samples of all six lipospheric supplements, which is a $30 value free with your first purchase. Go to liveonlabs.com/maston. That's liv0nlads.com/maston. Live on labs Com / maston and follow the instructions on the page. With the money back satisfaction guarantee, what's the risk of trying a smarter

way to supplement? Join me in going for the goo and never looking back. In the trauma field and in the somatic field, okay, there's this concept called titration. Right? Titration is where we slowly approach an uncomfortable feeling. Okay? In the entrepreneur field, we don't titrate. Okay? We saturate. We we go all in. Okay? So again, you're in the field of being a gladiator. You're in the field of high stakes. This is we are not in physical therapy. You are on the field. It's a

fourth down on the fourth quarter. It's the ninth inning. It's the bottom of the ninth, whatever sports analogy matters to you. You're gonna feel pressure. You're gonna feel triggered. You're gonna feel activated. In fact, if you don't feel triggered, then we're not doing something right because being triggered is not a bad thing. Right? Life doesn't come with a trigger warning. Business doesn't come with a trigger warning. Right? We just learn through experience. Who follows? This make

sense? So if you notice some activation in your system, that's the point. Just so we're very clear. We're gonna default to I don't wanna feel triggered. I wanna learn more. I wanna learn more so I don't feel triggered. Who follows? This makes sense? Entrepreneurs are like, triggered? I get paid when I'm triggered. Right? I associate money coming in when I get triggered. Okay? So it's a different association. There are no prerequisites for triggered. We want to

initiate feeling more triggered. And the thing is is that students are great at learning and practitioners are great at helping, but all that holds you back in your coaching business. Who follows? This makes sense? So the missing piece is what you do when you feel activated or what you do when you feel triggered. Okay? In the in the in the trauma healing, slow it down and titrate. If you titrate in business, you

will run out of cash. Do you understand? Do you do you hear me? If we go too slow, especially in the beginning, right, if you're trying to grow or scale and you go slowly, you will die. Okay? We gotta get through the valley. We gotta jump through the hoop quickly. We gotta get through the desert. We are not gonna take our time through the desert of low cash flow. Right? We actually wanna do the opposite in many ways. And the here's the good

news. This is, this means you're stronger than you used to be. It means that before, these types of emotions who here feels like certain feelings you've been feeling last couple days? When you used to feel them, they'd take you out for months or days or years sometimes. And now you're like in and out in a hot second. Right? So we wanna regulate, dysregulate, and reregulate quickly, but we wanna go into triggers and stay in

them and expand. Entrepreneurship is an exposure based experience, and we wanna activate and then we wanna keep activating consistently over time. So if you have student nervous system trait dominance, you're curious, you love to learn, you ask lots of questions, you thrive in a structured environment, you're optimistic about new topics, which is great for skill building and learning, but it's up your

business growth. Right? We don't need to learn anything else except for what does it feel like to be triggered and how long can I stay in it? I'd be curious about that. Right? Imagine if you took your student into that mindset. Right? Practitioner nervous system dominance. Right? Client focused and present, patient and compassionate. Okay? Confident in your skills. You offer valuable perspectives, and feedback for your client, but it limits your coaching business

expansion because when you get activated, what's your go to? I'm gonna disappear myself, help somebody else, and pretend I don't have needs. Okay. That's the magic child wish when we were younger. I remember when I was first in therapy, my therapist told me, Mastin, you have a lot of magical thinking. I said to myself, well, thank you so much. I thought that was a compliment. Does anybody know what magical thinking is in the therapeutic

context? I thought it was like he she called me Walt Disney or something. Right? No. Magical thinking is when you link two things together that don't belong together. Okay? For example, right, when I share the story earlier about, like, science and Christianity in my early schools, I linked how the people in the school responded with my faith, which are I unlink those things. Right? When we're younger, we link our worthiness with what has to happen to

get our parents' attention. Right? I have to be quiet. I have to fit in. Right? That's called magical thinking. Who follows? This makes sense? Right? So we link things together that don't belong together because when we're kids, we're egocentric. We think the world is about us. Could you imagine if you're a six month old and you're like, my mom's not here because she has trauma from her history. And right now, she's working it through

and, you know, co regulating with my father. And the fact that I'm crying out has nothing in fact to do with me at all. She'll be back in just a moment while she works to regulate herself. I'm gonna sit here and be calm. No. That doesn't happen because we don't have a prefrontal cortex until we're online toward 25 who follows. This makes sense? Right? And so when

we're younger, we link stuff as being all about us. And now it's showing up in your coaching business and you're like, the market has nothing to do with you. Thank God. What the market thinks is so much nicer than what you think. Your job is to journey through the activations in your nervous system and not stop, not investigate where they come from, not learn more about them, not disappear yourself. So when we have magical

thinking, here's what the gifted children do. The helpers, the empaths, the people who are practitioner, like dominant or have high practitioner scores. Here's what we do. All of us. Okay? And I very rarely make generalizations like this, but I'm gonna say it now. Okay? When we're younger, we have we have needs that we're born with. We need sugar and glucose for our brain. We need oxygen. Right? We need to be held. We

need relationship. We need attention. We need safety. Who follows? Does this make sense? And we know this on a DNA level. Okay? It doesn't happen. On some level, our needs don't get met. We get neglected. We get hurt. We get abused. We're not safe. Whatever it might be. At some point, we realize what I need, not gonna get what I need. I'm gonna take what I need. I'm gonna put it over here, and I'm gonna start to take care of what I think you need. Does that sound familiar to anybody?

Take what I need, put it aside, and let me make sure I know what you need. I'm gonna study it real well, become the best student of what you need, and then I give it to you like a great practitioner. Right? Our student practitioner parts are born super young. And then here's the part that we don't talk about a lot. I'm gonna set my needs aside. I'm gonna give you what you need, I think, with the unconscious hope that if I give you what you need, you'll give me what I need. Who follows?

Right? And we act it out over and over and over and over and over again. And then when we're adults, it sounds like this. If he loved me, I wouldn't have to tell him. Right? It's like, no. That's not how it works. Right? If I'm a great practitioner, I don't have to do marketing. If I'm a great student and I'm smart enough, I don't have to do business stuff. Right? You're letting a young, young, young, entitled part of you drive the ship. And we have to recognize that

you do not deserve business success unless you show up consistently. You deserve it when you earn it. You earn it through action. Action is taken every day. And what you need more than anything is courage. Everything else who here wants confidence? Anybody want confidence? Who wants more clarity? Who wants more certainty? Right? Who wants to help more people? Who wants to know their niche like nobody's business? Who wants to crush it on social media? Who wants to make it crush it in sales?

Before you do any of that, the thing that has to happen first is courage because you don't know how to embody your next level. You are incompetent, incapable, and not skilled at your next level. You're competent, capable, and skilled at your current level and below. But, like, for example, for me, I don't know how to build a 9 figure business. Right? I have no idea. We built a multi 8 figure business. I have I don't really know I have cognition around how to do it, but I don't really know how

to do it because I'm not embodying it. For some now I used to feel that way about my first thousand dollars. I felt the same way I feel about a 9 figure business as I felt about my first thousand dollars because the next level is just as mystifying No matter where you start, who follows. This makes sense? And I've been activating myself daily since, and the prerequisite for the next level is courage. If you want confidence, you pay the price of courage first. And guess what?

Courage is rent, and it's due daily. Courage is rent. So you don't get to pay for today's courage with yesterday's courage. You don't. Yesterday's courage disappeared. It was rent for yesterday. Today, we have a new step of courage. So we're gonna be continuously activating our entrepreneur nervous system. But, oh my god. What the am I doing? Oh my god. This is terrifying. Holy shit. I think I'm gonna vomit. I'm gonna blah blah blah blah blah blah. And guess what?

Successful business coaches excuse me. Successful coaches in business and successful business coaches, we know, we associate, I'm gonna vomit. Oh my god. This is terrifying. That is what happens before a bunch of money comes into our bank account. Every time. Every time. Because it's risk. There is no certainty. This is not a job. So the more triggered we feel in business, it's like, I must be right before some cash flow coming in. Because I'm expanding, because guess what?

Expansion is triggering. Expansion is scary. Expansion is uncertain. So if you're like, what's my next step? The next step is courage first, then everything else. So you wanted to have courage first, and we want coregulation. Without courage and coregulation, nothing else is possible. Who follows? This makes sense? But if you're not scared on a regular basis, you should be terrified. You should be terrified. And if you're scared on a

regular basis, you should feel calm. Because if you're scared on a regular basis, that means you're taking courageous and perfect action. You're taking the next step. So I get to a place where if I'm too calm for too long, I get a little anxious. Like, we're not growing. Something's wrong.

The reason why is it's not hypervigilance. I wanna grow. So if I don't feel some type of risk being taken on at least a weekly, if not monthly, hopefully daily basis of some kind, in my nervous system, I start to get anxiety, which is different than being triggered. Because I know something's off if I'm not growing. I'm not gonna reach my goals. I have anxiousness about not reaching my goals. I don't have anxiousness about what it takes to reach my goals anymore. It's reversed in my nervous

system. Right? And here's what I can count on. If we just look at physics and we we we believe what you believe about the law of attraction for we throw we just pause on the law of attraction for a second. We just look at physics in the universe. Okay? Every molecule, every atom, what is it doing? All of them. It's vibrating. Okay? And if it's not vibrating, what does that mean? It's dead. Okay? Exactly. Okay? That happens at zero degrees

Kelvin. Okay? So we don't need to get too into physics. But the point is vibration is a law of the universe. This is not like I'm not I'm not talking about law of attraction. I'm saying literally every molecule expands and contracts, expands and contracts, expands and contracts. If something expands forever, what's that called? Explosions. Right? And they call they cause chaos. Okay? What if something contracts forever? What's that called? It's called a black hole.

Okay? But we have explosions and black holes. Okay? And somewhere in between infinite explosion and chaos and black holes, every freaking molecule in our universe goes, it it I don't even really understand it. It's just beautiful how this works. Okay? So here's what this means. It doesn't matter what I tell you. The laws of the fabric of the universe tell you that if you have an expansion, what's gonna happen? If you have an expansion,

what's gonna happen? There's gonna be a contraction. And if you have a contraction, what's gonna happen? An expansion. So if you're in a contraction, you can count on an expansion. And if you're in expansion, you can count on a contraction. And if you know that, guess what? We also know observing experiments changes outcomes. So when things are expanding, don't mistake it to say this is always going to expand this way. When it's expanding, go, oh my god.

My expansion, this is great. That means the contraction is coming. Let me prep for it. Right? Let me prep for it. Right? The contraction happens. It's not, oh my god. The world's over. It's like, no. This is exactly what happens. There's expansion. There's a contraction. There's expansion. There's a contraction. So if you're in a contraction right now, you can count on an expansion being imminent. If you're in an expansion right now, at some point,

there will be a contraction. And if you know that that is the cycle of life, then activation isn't scary. It becomes predictable, And you start to see cycles and you start to see patterns over time, and then it doesn't it's not as scary. There's just expansions and contractions, and that's what life is. And when you know that, now you're in charge. You have agency and control. Who follows? Does this make sense? Right? So if you're like in a moment of contraction, guess what's gonna happen next?

Expansion. Right? If you're like, oh my god. If I activate what's gonna happen, you're gonna expand, but you'll contract. And depending on whether you're with people or by yourself, you can have expansions and contractions. You can have our goal in growth is that the expansion be larger than the contraction.
