Of the most important nutrients are among the hardest to absorb. LiveOn Labs changed that by introducing the first supplements made with a liposome encapsulation technology, the goo. LiveOn Labs' lipospheric supplements help my cells absorb and use the nutrients I need to nourish my nervous system, support my immune fight oxidative stress, maintain my cognitive health, and

produce energy. Magoo is packed with brain supporting nutrient choline and no sugar, no glycerin, no artificial flavors, or any other junk ingredients. Just the nutrients my body needs delivered in a way that I can finally absorb. When I take these, I can feel the difference. Sometimes I'm so stressed that it can be hard to absorb things and it just goes right in. Whether it's the vitamin c, the vitamin b, the glutathione, I feel an immediate state change.

That's why I go for the goo and why you should too. For listeners of this podcast only, Live On Labs is giving free samples of all 6 lipospheric supplements, which is a $30 value free with your first purchase. Go to liveonlabs.com/maston. That's liv0nlads dotcom/maston. Liveonlabs.com/maston and follow the instructions on the page. With the money back satisfaction guarantee, what's the risk of trying a smarter way to supplement? Join me in going for the goo and never looking back.

So as you may know, I was on Super Soul Sunday and, been blessed to be able to call Oprah a friend. And one of my favorite authors she's interviewed, like, everybody. Right? I mean, pretty much everybody. Right? One of my personal favorite authors that I noticed she had not interviewed was doctor David Hawkins. He had a book called Power versus Force. Anyone read Power versus Force? So Power versus Force is one of my favorite books. I asked Oprah. I said, have you ever thought

about interviewing doctor David Hawkins? Power versus Force is an incredible book. She goes, Madison, it's an amazing book. In fact, I did interview him. And I said, you did? I don't think I saw that. She's like, we never aired it. And I said, why? She goes, it's unairable. It was too complex. Now think about that for a second. Who here would love to be interviewed by Oprah?

Anybody? I'm curious. Okay? Now imagine that you get actually the privilege to be interviewed by Oprah, and you're so complicated that she doesn't air your interview. Could you imagine that? I I that was unfathomable to me. Right? And then, like, as someone who wants to make an impact, I'm like, so many more lives could have been reached. Right? So one of the things that Oprah is so good at and that she values is making things simple to understand. Who follows? This makes sense?

Okay? So it's important to recognize that when we get all up in our, like, sciency part, all up in, like, all these things, okay, like, we actually get in the way of sales. There's all these prerequisites. You get you get so in love with your modalities. You get so in love with the neuroscience of it. So in love with the complexity of all of it. People get blank faces. Okay? Now another thing to understand is I remember, like,

our very first business retreat. People were like like, Madison, Jetta, please teach us business how you do it. Great. So I put together this business retreat, and I wanna talk about Facebook ads, affiliate marketing, all this advanced shit because that's what I love. Does Does that make sense? Like, I would love the advanced stuff. Okay? Now we pulled this business retreat. It was $15,000

to attend the retreat. We decided, you know, before the retreat is filled out, before the retreat, we should just send out a survey because I was putting out the content with Jenna for the retreat and, like, all this advanced stuff. I was like, let's just check and see. Literally, people did not have websites. They did not have handles online. Like, they they didn't have any anything set up. And I was like, holy shit. We need to radically change what we're teaching.

Now I felt bad because I wanted to teach all the advanced stuff because I thought that was gonna be valuable for them. And I thought, oh my god. If we teach the basics, that's not gonna be worth the 15,000 who follows. Does it make sense? Right? That was my assessment. Okay? Now we get there. Nobody has a website set up. We decide, okay, one of the segments we're gonna all go to godaddy.com and buy a website. Like, it's not that

hard. I thought it would take, like, 15 minutes. This session took, like, 3 hours. I had to do an intervention on a woman. She was so scared. I was like, guys, we just have to buy a website. Right? But there was one woman who literally, like, by the end, was, like, had her website, was overthinking it, how to do the intervention, my mom and dad, all this stuff came up. I'm like, I cannot believe all this drama for just buying a domain name.

Like, we're just trying to buy a domain name. Like, we're not, like, we're not even public. We're just buying a domain name. Right? But it is what it is. No judgment. We we work with what's in the room. Okay? We literally had, like, her surrounded by 20 or 30 people cheering her on. You can do this to hit, like, buy it was, like, a few dollars. It wasn't, like, a expensive thing too. Right? It was what it represented. Right? So she bought

it, and all those were like, yay. Like, so excited. Right? And she started crying, and then she said something that was stunning to me. She said, that was worth the 15,000 right there. And I was like, I need to start charging $15,000 just to register people's websites. Like, I'm in the wrong business. Right? This is crazy. Now for me, that was shocking because do you think that seemed valuable to me at that time? Yes or no? No way. But who was it valuable to? It was her. Okay? And she paid. So I

let it be valuable for her. I didn't fight her on it. So it's important to recognize that we need to be clear. We need to just get started. What you think is valuable is not necessarily what other people think is valuable, but we wanna make sure that we're delivering value. Okay? Who follows? Does it make sense y'all? So the work that we've done, you know, we've done the breath work. We've started businesses. And there

was a time where I felt like I was the best kept secret. And my goal was to build a large coaching business, and I made so many mistakes from, like, couch surfing for 2 years, not making offers, not being clear, like, none of those things. Okay? And at some point, after all the success, the Oprah's, like, all that type of stuff happened to me, like, it would got very big and they contracted. And what I realized was something very important. I

realized, I was like, how did I miss this? Anyone ever recreate childhood conditions in relationships? Have you ever done this before? I'm curious. Were you like, oh, this was just like my childhood in a relationship? Who's ever done this? I'm curious. I've done it. Okay? You could recreate your childhood conditioning in business also.

And I was like, oh, shit. Like, I didn't realize that. And so what happens is without taking the trauma informed nervous system informed approach, not only are we not clear, not only are we confusing, not only are we so in love with our modalities that we're not adding value, not only are we not clear what's not valuable to people, we will end up recreating the childhood

conditions of neglect or something like that in our business. And then we say, I must not be good at this, or this must not be for me without recognizing that we have to repeat something so we can resolve it. Who follows? Does it make sense? So just like in a relationship. Okay? So that's a very important thing to understand. I did not know this at the time. It was very unclear to me, but I made it my intention to master learning how to not recreate my chakra conditioning in my

business. And I started noticing when people started asking me about, you know, working in their businesses like that because we were just, you know, coaching people, like, on, like, invisible breakthroughs. When we started doing, like, the business of it all, it was just like, oh my god. Like, the same thing that comes up in the relationship is coming up in the business. Right? Like, for example, like, not being able to receive. Right? Maybe you can't receive

love. Maybe you can't receive money. Right? Maybe you have a fear of visibility of being seen in life. Maybe fear of visibility of being seen, on the Internet. Right? So I kept asking why why why why why why why why why why? And what I discovered is that everyone had been through something hurtful that made them stop chasing their business dreams for some reason and overcompensate by helping and learning. Does that make

sense? So it's like, I'm not gonna be visible. I'm not gonna assert myself. I'm not gonna recede. I'm not gonna charge a lot. I'm just gonna help and be smart who falls. Because if you think about it, most of us probably, if we were visible, took up space, etcetera, when we were in our childhood, probably were not rewarded for that. I was highly neglected as a

kid, not on purpose, but didn't know how to hang up space. And what I also noticed, is that nobody was talking about how trauma and the nervous system played a role in people being stuck in business. And, yes, we have to change your state, but we have to understand where it comes from. And I couldn't find anybody in the therapy field who was talking about business and trauma. It's almost like there was this bifurcation where we talked to our therapists about the past, and we talked

to our coaches about the future, and then they're not talking to each other. And there's also almost antagonism between coaches and therapists in a way they almost kinda hate each other in a way. Right? Because it's like therapists generally feel like coaches don't have the education, and coaches generally feel they're not qualified enough. Right? Who follows? This makes sense? Okay. And so I was like, the people that are hurting the most are the consumer. Like, we need a

solution that solves this problem. And so with Jenna, we co pioneered a trauma informed business coaching approach in functional life coaching that truly understands the role of the nervous system and how, it can we can recreate our childhood conditions in our business and how to not do that and how to create coaching business success, without recreating our childhood conditioning. And that's when functional coaching was really born and has been successful, so far.

Okay? So my question for you is what if the reason you're struggling with your coaching business isn't a lack of knowledge? Would you believe me? Like, do you feel like you have a bunch of knowledge? So question, how many programs, courses, or trainings have you tried to use to improve your business? How many? Because be a lot or a little. It doesn't matter. You can be as honest as you want, as as clear

or not as you want. But how much money have you invested in programs, trainings, courses, education, degrees, etcetera? How much? 10 k? 20 k? You can say a lot or a little too. You don't have to say a number. Also, if you wanna say a number, that's fine. 13,000 spent a lot to learn more than a more than a 1000 k? More than a 100 k? I'm not sure what that means. 20 k? Too much. Consilience. Okay. So what does that mean? It means that you have tried many times to

be successful and invested very heavily to be successful. Is that true? And yet you aren't where you want to be. Is that also true? Okay. Seeing yeses. Okay. Now this is a I'm at this next question, it's a very specific question. Has what you invested in been effective? A little effective, a lot effective, not effective. Has what you invested in been effective? So I'm seeing some nos and some yeses. Okay. I'm not throwing shade. I wanna show you

something. I wanna show you how you're being successful, actually. Okay? Now before I close that open loop, do you still feel like you're stuck in your coaching business and growing it? I'm curious. Even if it was effective. Okay. So we are not throwing shade at any other programs. Here's what I'm telling you. What if it was effective for the level that you were previously at? So maybe you're on level 5 of a video game, Jumanji. You're on level 5 Jumanji. It worked for level 5, but but you're

ambitious, and you wanna go to level 6. Could it have been effective for where you were back then? Yes or no? Did maybe it built capacity? Maybe it built knowledge? Maybe it built curiosity? Who follows? Does this make sense? Okay? So if you're somebody who's highly invested in things, who's learned a lot, okay, and you're not where you want to be, it's here's why. Hear me now. Okay? You are ambitious. Who here wants more out of life? Okay? Your problem is that

you always want more. And so I want you to own that. I want you to own that you're ambitious. I want you to say, yes. I want more. Yes. I want the most out of life. Yes. I have ambition. Because if you own it, then you realize you're gonna always be changing the rules on yourself because the rules for level 5 are different than level 6, level 7, level 8, level 100, level who here gets if you're constantly leveling up, the rules are changing? Let me see

if I show hands. Okay? So if you're still doing the work, not getting the business results, not getting fast enough, you feel stuck, the reason may not be why what you think. Okay? It might be something different. It's not your fault. Okay? Because you're ambitious, meaning you're constantly changing the rules on yourself. Does that make sense? I wanna make sure that lands. I am not blaming you. I'm celebrating your ambition. I am

highly ambitious. But because I know I'm ambitious, I know that I'm always making it harder on myself, which changes my expectation of things. I don't say that didn't work. I say I'm try I'm making it harder. I'm picking up heavier weight and falls. Does it make sense? The other thing to understand is if you've invested in traditional business coaching, it's not your fault if you're stuck because traditional business coaching overlooks the

crucial role of the entrepreneurial nervous system. It's really just a, like, make it happen type situation. And so what we've noticed is that people tend to take 1 of 2 parts that go in the driver's seat when it comes to their coaching business. So there's, you know, we've heard parts or different aspects of your psyche. Okay? Let me let me tell you what we see. Okay? What we see is that when we meet

people, one of these two parts tends to be driving. The student who loves to learn or the practitioner who loves to help, and that's who's running the show in your business. Okay? The student is like, oh, learn new shit. Novelty, newness, new mechanisms of action. Oh my god. Can't wait. The practitioner is just like, I wanna help everybody. I gotta help everybody. So if you had to guess right now, I'm curious, who do you think is running the show in your business right now?
