E114 - Ammunition Bourbon Finished in Cabernet Sauvignon Barrels

Normally we stay within the state of Kentucky, but this week we ventured far out West to Sonoma County, California to taste and review Ammunition Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Cabernet Sauvignon Barrels. The folks at Daylight Wine and Spirits were winemakers first and quickly turned their attention to bourbon. Even though they have been producing bourbon since 2017, none of us had heard of this product. So what did we think? You'll have to listen to find out. This pour reminded one of us of a very popular bourbon that people stand in line for. This laugh packed episode involves a trip down memory lane for beloved glassware, many thoughts on other wine finished whiskeys, and all types of other fun stuff.
