Episode description

What comes to mind when you think of bourbon produced in Indiana? Most would probably say MGPI. However, there are many other distillers who make great whiskey and call Indiana home. Huber’s Starlight Distillery was first a family farm and winery, and now it has become a staple attraction of bourbon lovers in Indiana and beyond. This week we taste and review Carl T. Huber’s Double Oaked Bourbon. This roughly four year old bourbon goes through a primary aging process and then is finished in toasted french oak. How will this whiskey stack up against some of the other toasted and double oaked expressions that we’ve tried? Give us 30 minutes of your time and you will find out. As an added bonus, you will get to hear what we think of the new reality show “Power Slap” in the process. Cheers to the weekend!
