With the mid-engine supercar being readied for its debut in IMSA's WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the team placed our Marshall Pruett Podcast audio recorder directly between the 5.5-liter V8 engine's exhaust pipes, and with the trio of Antonio Garcia, Jordan Taylor, and Nicky Catsburg flying around the high banks of Daytona International Speedway during testing, the unique pitch created by its flat-plane crankshaft is captured creating a clear sound separation from its front-engine predecessor, the title-winning C7.R.
