Meet Mark Shelfo, the program director of PEER Seattle. Peer Seattle focuses on cultivating powerful, healthy lives by providing peer emotional support and development services to the LGBTQA community impacted by addiction, mental health and/or HIV/AIDS. Their services now stretch all over the state of WA. Marc candidly describes his own intense experience coming to terms with his sexuality, battling a ten year long meth addiction, and ultimately, WHY he chose to make a difference in his community. He is a long term HIV survivor, and now 11+ years sober, he dedicates his time to helping others that are facing similar challenges.
