Episode description

Today’s guest is an extreme distance swimmer who was told in his early 50’s that he was going to die. That the Lymphoma and Leukemia that was attacking his body would win out.

Then, just before his 30th wedding anniversary his wife who was also battling a terminal illness, suddenly died.

And in that dark period, when he felt he had nothing to live for he found an inner strength, he refused to accept a death sentence, and against doctors orders took matters into his own hands.

There’s a quote from Albert Einstein that reads, "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." Our next guest believes that adopting this quote as a standard to live by not only saved his life, but put the pieces into place to win the fight against Lymphoma and Leukemia, as well as help put his life back together.

I can’t wait to share with you the conversation I had with the man who may have cured himself of cancer through cold-water swimming - Dean Hall.

Remember, those of us who have something to prove can show the world, and ourselves, that we have what it takes to make it happen.

But you have to think big. You’ve got to be bold. And you must say yes.

Because WE DO HARD THINGS.
