It is always hard to say goodbye to a show that really gets to you. One that has characters you fall in love with. And the Bad Batch was just that. A found family of brothers, a sister, and all sorts of adventure. But there's sunlight in the sky, instead of a broody, overcast day, as the team survives their final battle...and completes their last mission. Save Omega. Save their brothers. And stop Hemlock.
It all worked out ok in the end. And so maybe we don't bid farewell, maybe it's see ya later instead...as we watch Omega fly away to join the rebellion as a pilot. While Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair get to enjoy their retirement on Pabu...always at the ready...for when Omega may just need their help...one...more...time....
