Shaun, Chuck, and Producer Chris look back at one of the greatest events in MMA history, UFC 189, revisiting the final six fights of the night, culminating in two title bouts, the first being an all-time classic between Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald for the Welterweight strap in the co-main event and the second being a late-notice clash of styles between the soon-to-be global superstar Conor McGregor and Team Alpha Male’s Chad Mendes, who stepped in to replace the injured Jose Aldo, for the interim Featherweight belt.
Plus, the guys discuss a variety of questions in retrospect, including the greatest “what ifs”, what’s aged the best and worst over the years, event MVP, and more. And, as always, they close the show by handing out their Interim Titles of the Week.
