Episode description

The Kateryna Biloruska Foundation was founded in Ukraine and its main objective is to empower youth and support families. Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals it aims to create a better future for young people and especially young women through quality education and inclusive programs. Kateryna, the founder, is on the show today talking about how and why she started this initiative, the impact sports play on motivation and wellbeing, what the foundation has achieved in Ukraine and how the war has affected the lives of women and girls. We also talk about the FEM (Future Empowered Minds) leadership program that was held in Cyprus over a month ago with 14-16 year old girls sharing their experiences and worries about the future.
