When Kerry Shaffer began rowing, in her mind there was no other end game than to compete and stand on the podium at the Olympic Games one day. After competing in four world championships, Kerry retired from competitive rowing and is now an excellent role model for the up-and-coming club athletes at the Detroit Waterfront River Association.
