Episode description

On this episode of the MacGuffin Guild, we're going to witness the self-proclaimed Greatest Hollywood Martial-Arts Movie ever Made! Karate Killer... Also known as Kill or Be Killed.

This 1976 Action, Adventure, Kung-Fu, Tournament flick stars James Ryan, Norman Coombes, Charlotte Michelle, Danie Du Plessis and Stan Schmidt. It was Directed by Ivan Hall.

We're gonna talk about Karate in the Olympics, Googly Eyes in the Darkness, the ultimate sore loser of all-time and where Mike falls on the Chris Pratt / Clint Howard Scale.

We'll question if Lorraine is alright and if you've ever had to kick a gun out of someones hand. We'll dig into the the definition of sinewy, and how editing is the offensive line of filmmaking.

We'll also get into Karate Kid influence, roundhouse kicks to a piano, dog spit mist, and how difficult it would be to drop a transmission with minimal tools.

I'm Pat Dougherty and as always I'll be joined by my fellow MacGuffin's Justin Jones and Mike Antonio.  Our theme song was written and performed by Jordan Vincent. It's not just a challenge... it's the only way to survive! In Karate Killer -- also known as Kill or Be Killed.
