Episode description

On this episode of the MacGuffin Guild, we're going to become part of Drive-In based concentration camp for outcast youths -- in Dead End Drive-In.

This 1986 Action Stunt Drama, and questionable Horror stars Ned Manning, Natalie McCurry, Peter Whitford, Wilbur Wilde among others. Directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith.

We're gonna talk about comparisons to Mad Max, the "choose your own adventure" moment, misleading cover art  and the works of Brian Trenchard-Smith.

We'll dig into the Metric System, Rambo Takes Russia, this films Nominations and we'll discuss whether or not other countries re-make American Films.

We'll also dig into the true pronunciation of Stephen King, this film's commentary on society, Joe Bob Briggs' 1st Annual Drive-In Jamboree, Max Maxwell and Guy Norris, the illusion of freedom and we'll question why this film is classified as Horror.

I'm Pat Dougherty and as always I'll be joined by my fellow MacGuffin's Justin Jones and Mike Antonio. Our theme song was written and performed by Jordan Vincent. The Price of Admission is the rest of your life... in Dead End Drive-In.
