A 6× NFR competitor and former world champion, he’s officially “hanging up the knee brace,” intending to focus more on family, particularly his son Stetson (11) and daughter Steelie (9). What’s next for Tyler? Although stepping away from the pro circuit, he’s far from done. He’s launching steer-wrestling schools, supporting children’s and jackpot ropings, and training horses—specifically steer wrestlers, hazing, and team roping horses. Plus, he’s spending quality time ranching and cheering on his kids.
