A perfect leaf peeping holiday weekend is on the way as foliage season hits its peak in northern New England. Milton, the monster houses flattened, the roof off, a stadium ripped open, and millions without power in a deadly night in Florida.
This is a special report from ABC News Hurricane Milton. I'm Andy Field. More than three million without power across Florida this morning. As crews looked for survivors at a senior community near Fort Pierce, they fear there could be many did.

We're trying to provide any recover anybody that we can provide, whatever help that we can.
Saint Lucie County Sheriff Keith Pearson. Hurricane Milton raced across the middle of Florida, making landfall near Sarasota's c STA Key. It's about seventy miles south of Tampa and spawning severe weather. Even before Milton arrived.
Ahead of the hurricane and outbreak of tornadoes cutting across the state, more than thirty reported tornadoes touching down, one of them on the move in Palm Beach County, tearing through power lines, Another crossing I seventy five west of Fort Lauderdale.
ABC's Jacqueline Lee. Insurers estimate Milton could create up to one hundred billion dollars in property dammit.
At ABC's Andy Field and once again, Massachusetts comes to the rescue.
Massachusetts Task Force one has over six venty five members in North Carolina ready to dash to the scene as needed.
Our team is a search and rescue team capable of structural collapse search and rescue as well as phil and swift water search and rescue or wide area search.
Tom Gazunis is the information officer with the team contracted with FEMA to conduct search and rescue operations with police, fire, EMS personnel, including civilians.
Currently, they're down there with boats and trailers, search equipment, rescue equipment, you know, being able to move heavy structures components.
Massachusetts Task Force one, based in Beverly, has more members available if the crisis demands more hands for search and rescue this weekend. Jay Willette WBZ, Boston's news.

The thirty eight year old says he'll make his final appearance for Spain at next month's Davis
Cup finals. Rafa saying this morning he has tried his best to battle through injuries late in his career, but the time has come to wrap it up. He won all the big ones, Jeffrey, but fourteen French Open titles gives him the name the King of.

Boston on this Thursday morning, it's six oh five. Some warnings in the driver's seat are about to get a little more noticeable.
Failure to buckle up continues to play a large role in fatal accident. An IIHS study found a persistent reminder was much more effective at getting part time seat belt wearers to buckle up than a minimal reminder. It found an audible reminder that lasted at least ninety seconds increased belt use by around thirty percent, and that could mean saving almost sixteen hundred lives a year if every vehicle on the road was equipped with that ninety second reminder.
That is CBS's Chris Van Cleeve number show front seat belt use decreases the risk of deadly injury injuries by forty five percent. Today is World Mental Health Day and it's time to do yourself a favor.
In recognition of World Mental Health Day, folks can enjoy a two hour complimentary Blue Bikes ride. So I went out for a spin myself after putting in the one word code Blue Cross WMHD. All right, so I'm running a blue bike right now and despite the cold wind in my face, this does feel pretty nice. We'll tell you biking this early in the morning. Now twenty six days to go official, say Kamala Harris has raised more than one billion dollars in her White House campaign and she's only been running for three months. No candidate in US history has raised so much so fast. For comparison, the Donald Trump campaign has not raised a billion dollars so far this year. Official fundraising totals are required to be released by the end of this month. Former President Barack Obama goes all in on the election
campaign for Harris. Mister Obama will launch a campaign blitz in Pittsburgh today. It's an effort to bring separation from Donald Trump in the Swing States in the final three and a half weeks. Early voting is underway in most of America right now, and another sure sign the holiday season is really here yep. The US Postal Service sends us a timeline for when your cards and packages must
be in the mail to guarantee Christmas delivery. Plan to give one week of leeway before Christmas for sending most gifts, you can wait till just a few days before the holiday to send priority packages. The post Office continues to be under fire in Boston, though, where many neighborhoods claim the mail rarely, if ever comes. What holiday season just about here.
