CEO ar Thir T. De Mulis. He's on paid leave now as the board conducts an investigation into what it fears is a sinister plot to stage an employee walk out. Official say de Mulis is frustrated over being required to get approval from the board for his everyday decisions. De Mulis, whose son and daughter are also on the outs of the company, say the rest of the board is trying to cover up its tracks on a possible sale of
that company. At the Karen Reid trial, the defense continues to try to poke holes in the theory of a crash expert that Read backed her suv at an accelerated rate of speed into John O'Keefe, leaving her boyfriend for dead in the snow more than three years ago. Possible, that's not probable, no possible, anything as possible, and on deal possibilities at deal in probabilities. The final witness of
the prosecution remains under cross examination, Judson Welcher. After four hours of defense grilling Reads, lawyers say they are about halfway done with Welcher. It is a half day of testimony today. The defense is expected to get the case before this week is out. At the Sean Diddy Combs trial and Federal Court in Manhattan, another witness testifies that the one time hip hop mogul attacked his longtime girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Combs is accused of sex trafficking and racketeering
charges in what prosecutors say was a long running criminal enterprise. Meantime, Cassie Ventura, just days after her blistering testimony, is a new mom for the third time. The aspiring singer gives birth to a bouncing baby boy. Ventura and her husband are also parents to two young girls as well. In the NBA Playoffs, the Oklahoma City Thunder returned to the finals.
They send the Minnesota Wolves home for the summer, and for the third consecutive year, the Florida Panthers returned to the Stanley Cup Final in the NHL with a victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. this Thursday morning. High temperatures will only be in the low sixties today, and we're going to see intermittent rain and drizzle throughout the entire day. It continues cloudy with a couple of showers overnight. Tonight, temperature's really holding pretty much steady in the upper fifties. Then tomorrow, a mixture of clouds and some sunshine. We cannot rule out the
possibility of a shower or two. Daytime highs will be warm and sticky in the low to mid seventies tomorrow, And unfortunately, it looks like for what is this maybe the twelfth consecutive weekend that we're going to see some precipitation that's going to be with us on Saturday before things start to dry out on Sunday. It worked out great because he's a nearly eighty year old disabled veteran out shopping for the first time since his wife passed. He needed help carrying groceries. I needed to see this collection. The first room you walk into in his home is covered floor two ceiling with Eminem merch.
Cuckoo, clocks, sack scratches.
You got even more over here he's going. It extends into his living room, dining room. He even has entire closets full of rare Eminem flavors. But he's not trying to get rich here. This is just something to bring him a little joy.

He's already stepped back considerably to attend to his struggling companies, but he announces on social media that his time as special government employee is now up and thanks President Trump
on his exit for his trust in running DOGE. Despite eroding promises to cut two trillion dollars in the federal budget, that number repeatedly has been lowered to its current estimate of about one hundred and fifty billion dollars. The exit comes just after Musk criticizes the President's budget bill as being deeply flawed. Despite threats from the President, most US businesses say they plan to pass price ikes onto US new survey finds sixty percent of companies planned to pass
the tariff based increases to customers. The results come just before the US Trade Court blocked the tariff policy on grounds it exceeded the President's power. Lingerie shop Victoria's Secret really does keep a secret.
If you were hoping to shop for undies or pjs online, you could be out of luck. Victoria's Secrets website has shut down because of a security threat. A disclaimer on the home page says it's taken action as a precaution and the company's team, along with third party experts, are working around the clock to fully restore operations. In the meantime, the lingerie chain reminds customers both its Victorious Secret and Pink stores nationwide are still open. Deborah Rodriguez, CBS News.
