We're getting some today, but that humidity is still going to be sticking around, very warm, at humid today with clouds and sun along with a thunderstorm at the after the tod evening. looking outstanding as we head off into the weekend. That air is going to calm down a little bit in terms of that humidity, and we'll be feeling a whole lot more comfortable as we make our way throughout your Friday. Now at six to oho one, the North End is shining bright with lights and high spirits. Final preparations underway for the annual Fishermen's Feast.
Food vendors have taken over Fleet North and Lewis Streets. Above them shine the iconic yellow lights and a shining crown that over one hundred years have been seen as a symbolic representation of hope, devotion, and the spirit of the Italian community. Fisherman's Feast, which kicks off today and runs through Sunday, will feature its traditional parades, the blessing of fishing waters, plenty of entertainment, and of course plenty

DC Federal Appeals Court panel, voting two to one, says President Trump can hold back money allocated to foreign food, medicine, or development projects. The decision did not touch on the wider issue of whether a president has the constitutional authority to hold back or impound money that's been appropriated by Congress. It focused on a much narrower issue, ruling the groups that sued did not have the standing to do so.
They planned to ask the full fifteen judge court for a review, saying they're trying to prevent a humanitarian crisis. Michael Toscano, CBS News Washington.
And at six h seven, President Trump now saying he'll be asking Congress for a quote long term extension of federal troops patrolling the streets of Washington, which includes a federal control of the DC Police Department. Last night, there were protests all over the downtown area, chanting at federal agents and National Guard troops, protesting their presence in DC.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenski in London today meeting with British Prime Minister Kiir Starmer ahead of the President's summit with Vladimir Putin and Alaska tomorrow. Zelenski arriving at ten Downing Street earlier this morning, a day after he visited Germany, where he held his virtual meeting with President Trump. handwritten plead. The Miami criminal Defense attorney will now talk with a notorious drug kingpin by way of telephone calls and personal conferences.
