You know we're on strike at Hilton, but we could don strike any day at any of these other properties where we're not settled and open ended strikes.
Boston Hotel Workers Union president Carlos Romayo sounding pessimistic about the prospects for an end to the week old hotel strike against Hilton Park Plaza and Logan Airport Hilton Hotels, Romios saying workers at the Omni and Marriott hotels in Boston could join their Hilton Hotel colleagues on the picket line within days, and they will.
Figure out how to stay out there and post these hotels and cause economic pain for these hotels until they get what they want.
And that's something I have one confidence.

Five residents of Lowell doing court after the holiday weekends wept up in a month's long, undercovered drug and firearm investigation. Middlesex County DA Marion Ryan's office announcing the sweep on Friday, and the search for a sixth suspect is continuing. Those arrested Friday scheduled to appear Tuesday in Lowell District Court on several firearm and drug charges. Residents of Salem feeling
the influx of tourists for the Halloween festivities. Instead of driving, Salem mayor Dominic Panngalo asking visitors consider taking public transportations.

George Sampson works in Beverly. He sets up his belt and wallet vending business every weekend. He says a lot of Beverly residents are complaining about the traffic flow from Beverly to Salem this time of year.
I have to wait for a lot of cars to go by that are used in Essex Street to get out to one twenty eight.

Aside from all the traffic, the other challenge is parking. Salem has approximately four thousand parking spots, and the mayor says they can get as many as sixty five thousand visitors on a weekend.
Over one hundred thousand is re clesser to the end of the season, So through the math, you're not gonna find a parking space. If you're planning to come to Salem, come by train, come by ferry. Yeah. I got a lot of nice people that are just tourists and they want to get out of Salem for a day and they come over.

Take a train, take a ferry, don't drive. It's definitely adding to the traffic of the city and the residents don't like it.

President Biden heading to Florida later today to survey the damage. Ahead of his trip, he has approved a disaster Relief Declaration in Florida. That move provides federal funding for Florida's cleanup and rebuilding. The funds will be available to thirty
four counties. It will also provide grants for housing and home repair, along with loans for those with uninsured property losses, and more relief coming from the northeast and on its way to parts of North Carolina hit hard by Hurricane Helene. This time, the helping hand comes from the MSPCA, a group of veterinarians, technicians, and community outreach staffers heading to Yancey County in North Carolina, where Helene damaged or destroyed.

He says Harris has a history of allergies and hives, for which she has been on allergy and aminotherapy for the past three years.
Mike Kempen Washington, SpaceX could be blasting off its experimental Starship bucket this morning. The FAA issuing a new license to the private space company yesterday after requiring SpaceX to limit harm to the environment along the South Texas coast during liftoff. Now following the announcement, SpaceX posted that it was targeting this morning at eight am to start a thirty minute launch window for Starship's fifth test flight. Starship is the largest rocket ever built and was designed to
