His link was just a bunch of letters and numbers. Mine was easy drive MA with two eyes in drive.
I did get a text like that, but I thought it was totally suspicious.
That's Sarah. She says she never answers texts like that.
I guess my advice to people is when you get stuff like this, take a deep breath and look at it carefully before you click on it, and then go directly to the website where you have your account.
Great advice. In fact, that's what mass dot tells us to do. Plus it says it would never request payment by text. Dan says scams like this are forcing us to be cynical.
You just got to believe everything is fake, and it's sad that it has to be that way, but that's just the world we live in today.

Death toll from the wild fires in California, now sixteen as Cruz battle to cut off the spreading blazes before potentially strong winds return that could push the flames towards some of the city's most famous landmarks, the Los Angeles County Corners offices. Hall neighbors were telling us that this body of water was full of people who were out here ice fishing, walking their dogs, skating, playing hockey and taking advantage of some of the open space that this ice can bring.
Now that doesn't mean that it's necessarily safe for folks to do this, with the New Hampshire Marine Patrol actually confirming to us that someone did in fact fall through the ice out here, and that the Marine Patrol has been working for several hours with several different police and fire departments out here to try to find the person that fell through that ice. They have since called that search off for the time being as they haven't found
that person yet. Neighbors in the area telling us that it has been a strong law enforcement response.

When I pulled in away from her, I came in different times. I saw the ambulance going out. Authority say they believe the victim did drown. They will resume their search this morning. Three people shot early this morning, just before one thirty am at the Morning Lounge and Grill on a Kushnitt Avenue in New Bedford. Twenty seven year old christianom Esto of New Bedford rushed to Saint Luke's Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Two other women
also hospitalized, their conditions not known this morning. No arrests thus far have been made. An increase in cases of the flu and COVID and RSV infections prompting more healthcare systems to bring back mandates to wear a mask. Cambridge Health Alliance now requiring patients, staff and visitors to wear masks at its clinics. The Globe reporting base State Health, which operates hospitals in western Massachusetts, mandating masks be worn
in areas where patients are receiving care. Staff who interact with patients and masks. General Brigham are required to wear masks. Patients and visitors not required to wear a mask, but are being encouraged to do so. Beth Israel, Laky Health, and Tufts Medicine Implement did their mask mandates in late December. Brown University Health Without, which operates hospitals in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts, recommending masks be worn, but again it
is not mandatory. Investigators looking into an E. Coli outbreak from this past fall finding a lot of problems at a supplier for the McDonald's fast food chain, CBS News correspondent Michael Wallace.
The CDC says at least one hundred and four cases of E. Coli infections were linked to the October outbreak, including thirty four hospitalizations and one death. The cases were traced to onions used in McDonald's quarter pounders. CBS News has learned FDA inspectors found multiple violations at the Tailor Farms factory in Colorado where those onions came from, including little hand washing by employees and dirty equipment.
