But the indications are as we get towards Election Day and beyond next week, we are going to see temperatures right back in the lower seventies. So right now in Boston. Hundreds of hotel workers in Boston are back at it after ratifying a new union contract with the city's Hilton Hotels. Off the job for more than three weeks, the new deal includes a ten dollars an hour raise, better benefits, and more job protection. The union says this.
Is pretty much the same deal that these workers colleagues just approved at the city's omni properties. Jay Willette WBZ, Boston's news radio, maybe the third time will be the charm. The union, representing more than thirty thousand machinists at jetmaker Bowing, will bring the latest contract proposal to a vote beginning
on Monday. The new deal calls for a more than forty percent raise nearly twenty thousand dollars in bonuses, but does not include a return to the company funded pension plan, which to now has been the big bone of contention. The union has rejected two previous tentative deals. So, now, what are you going to do the day after Halloween? And you've got a lot of leftover candy, don't you?
