On an absolutely beautiful Boston summer day. Here we learn that the Boston Calling Music Festival is changing up the plans, and the first order of business is that they will not be having a festival next year in twenty twenty six. It is just a year off for the festival. They will be back in twenty twenty seven. But the big change we learn here is that the dates are going to change. No longer Memorial Day weekend. The next Boston Calling Music Festival is now set for June fourth through
the sixth, twenty twenty seven. We're going to learn more about this as we go. I have been assured though, that there was so much energy still behind this festival. They've had so many great years. And don't forget it's not the first year that this festival has missed a year. They missed two years during COVID again Boston calling taking a year off. They'll be back in twenty twenty seven. The North Shores only all girls private high school is closing after it filed for bankruptcy. In a message to families obtained by Salem News, the Academy at Penguin Hall says they'll shutter effective immediately after it failed to secure new donors and increase enrollment numbers. The school also owes the town of Wenham more than six thousand dollars in water bills and has been operating in a negative balance since twenty twenty two. A juror in the Karen Reid

A new study from the MIT Media Lab reports when people use the artificial intelligence tool to help write SAT style essays, they consistently underperformed Over time. Chat GPT users got lazier with EHSA, many times resorting to copy and paste methods. Boston Police is investigating a deadly shooting near the border of Dorchester and Roxbury. Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound on Ruthven Street at around ten pm last night. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Anyone with information is urged to contact Boston Police. In the Middle East, Israel and Iran continue to trade fire after nearly a week into the war. ABC's Ian Penell has the latest.
Overnight, a new wave of strikes in the Middle East. Fires in southern Israel after an Iranian ballistic missile attack, and state broadcasters in Iran reporting air defense systems intercepted Israeli drones over Tehran, Israel launching multiple attacks across the country.
Meanwhile, Iranian foreign minister is set to talk with European leaders in Geneva, and President Trump says he is days away from a decision to strike Iran's nuclear program.
President has now given himself a two week deadline to make this high stakes decision and whether to strike Iran. We are told he's hoping this gives the Iranians quote time to come to their senses and come back to the negotiating table. The big question now, what happens if they don't.
