Two of the United States largest trading partners strike back against President Trump's latest salvo of terriffs. China has high tariffs on US goods eighty four percent of the European Union just in post twenty five percent duties of his own. President Trump, though, is still defending his tactics despite the turmoil.
Trump last night downplaying the concerns on Wall Street. I know what the hell I'm doing, the President's saying, negotiations are underway with some countries.
These countries are calling us up, kissing my they are.
They are dying to make it your, please, please make it your I'll do anything.
But China has refused to give in to what it calls blackmail.

Consumer sentiment against the US is particularly strong in Denmark, whose territory Greenland. President Trump has said he wants to acquire. Many Danes are canceling their Netflix, Disney Plus, and Apple TV subscriptions, and the Danish Facebook group, with ninety thousand members, helps Danes find non US made alternatives to everything from shoes to lawnmowers. Three more jurors seated yesterday. One juror from last week was dismissed for personal reasons, so that leaves the current jury makeup of six men and six women. Four more needed to reach the sixteen that Judge Beverly Cononi requires before move forward with the trial. So far, more than three
hundred and eighty jurors have been screened. Neared told reporters yesterday that she expects opening statements could begin next Tuesday. She also says that she's anxious and that it is in God's hands this time. The defense is the defenses. Opening statement will be given by Attorney Alan Jackson. Reed's illegal team is still waiting to hear if the US Supreme Court will hear their appeal, trying to get two
of the charges tossed out, citing double jeopardy. They've also asked the trial be delayed while waiting on the Supreme Court. More than one hundred people are dead many more injured after yesterday's roof collapse at a nightclub in the Dominican Republic.
Among the dozens killed a saxophonist on stage, Local politicians and two former Major League Baseball players, including Octavio Dotel. Official say the former pitcher died on his way to the hospital. On social media, Dotel's former teams, including the Yankees and Astros, paying tribute to the former World Series champion, and the Mets holding moment of silence. Another player, forty four year old Tony Blanco, was also killed in the roof collapse.

to clouds. Highs near fifty inland in the forties near the coast, and then Jus Thursday night is when we're going to see a little bit of that rain return. Also, we'll see possibly some of that rain mixing with some wet snow north and west of the city. Thursday nights low thirty five to thirty nine. Friday, we're going to see some rain near and west of four ninety five.
Hi's forty six to about fifty Saturday. Unfortunately, we're seeing some rain and drizzle at times to start off the weekend, and high's only reaching about the mid forties again, mid forties. Boston City Councilor Tanya Fernandez Anderson resigns after pleading guilty to wire fraud and stealing from a federally funded program. For other charges will be dropped. Fernandez Anderson was arrested last year, accused of stealing thousands in a kickback scheme. May Boston Mayor Michelle, who urged her to resign.
Officials brightly should be held to a high standard, so I called initially for resignation months ago.
And Fernandez Anderson represents Dorchester, Roxbury, Fenway and parts of the South End prosecutors recommending that she serve a year and a day in prison, spend three years on probation, and pay thousands of dollars in restitution.
