And yesterday she testified the injuries on John O'Keefe's arm were consistent with a dog bite. Wbz's Emma Friedman will

Meantime, other stories we're watching, we're hearing from the family of Marcello Gomes today is the Milford High school student detained by ice on his way to volleyball practice this past weekend. His cousin, Julia Sampaio, says they've been in contact with the eighteen year old Logan Hall the CBS News Boston.
They're a tight knit family and Julia has spoken to Marcello's parents since the arrest. Ice was a richly targeting Marcello's father, gal Paolo Gomez, who the car was registered to. She says the family is terrified and doing what they can to lay low.
They're scared to leave their homes.
They're even scared to walk their dogs or throw their trash out, because at the moment they step out of their homes, they can be detained at any point.
We spoke to that student who was also in the car with Marcelo when the arrest took place. He's also undocumented and asked that his identity be protected.
The thought of everything that my parents left behind, everything that my parents sacrificed for in the ten years we've been here, all of that just gone down the drain.
The Massachusetts Teachers Association among those calling for Marcello's release. Now, this comes as two cities, Somerville and Chelsea, ask a federal court this morning to block the Trump administration from stripping them of federal funding. The government is targeting those two cities and others around Massachusetts for their sanctuary policies. Last weak, Homeland Security put out a warning to sanctuary community it is around the country. Change your policies or
face consequences. Somerville and Chelsea, in the filing today say this violates their constitutional rights. They're asking for a preliminary injunction while their lawsuit plays out. And at eleven oh two, the Hamas run Gaza Health Ministry says at least twenty seven people were killed this morning as Israeli soldiers opened fire near an AID station. ABC's Ian Pannell says it is the second time this week that Palestinians have come under fire they try to get desperately needed supplies.
The head of NASA Hospital in southern Gaza are accusing Israeli forces of firing on people waiting for aid. Israeli defense forces talking to us this morning, admitting they did open fire around five hundred yards from this American backed food center, but alleging that warning shots were ignored by individuals straying from an approved route and that they advanced towards troops in a quote threatening way. For the rest of the day, the forecast is looking phenomenal. We've got just a couple of clouds right now, we have temperatures in the upper sixties, low seventies. We will see a bit of hayes out there again today from the Canadian wildfire smoke that's making its way here into the northeast through the jet stream, so just be sure to expect that from time to time. Eleven oh six. Investigators now say the attack that injured twelve people in Boulder, Colorado, over the weekend, could have been much worse, but the suspect backed off his original plan at the last minute.
The suspect, who investigators say originally dressed as a gardener to blend in, allegedly researched the Run for Their Lives group, who gathers weekly to promote awareness for the Israeli hostages in Gaza. Law enforcement says the suspect drove to Boulder from his home in Colorado Springs, picking up gasoline on
the way. At the scene, authorities recovering a weed spray or backpack containing flammable liquid, as well as sixteen unused molotov cocktails, which he allegedly learned how to make watching YouTube videos and.

He is due beck in court next week or rather later this week on Thursday, and a new report is warning about the dire consequences of laws that ban gender affirming care for kids. Human Rights Watch says in the last four years, twenty five states have enacted sweeping bands targeting gender affirming care for trans youth. They say bands can lead to increased anxiety, depression, and suicide attempts.

Grew up in one body and are at risk of, you know, having that care in that body essentially taken away from them because of these laws.
