Today marks the twenty fifth anniversary of the deadly Wooster Cold Storage warehouse fire. Six firefighters battled that blaze and lost their lives that day. They went back inside looking for a couple of homeless
people believed to be inside the burning warehouse. Will tonight, the Worcester Fire Department and city officials and loved ones will gather at this site, which is now the Franklin Street Fire Station. They will place a reeth for each man, Lieutenant Thomas Spencer, Lieutenant Timothy Jackson, Lieutenant James Lyons, Paul Brotherton, Jeremiah Lucy, and Joseph McGirk. A twenty one gun salute will honor each of them as we salute you and your memory. And exhibit is also open today and tomorrow
for the public inside of the Wooster Union Station. It is a day to give. It's Giving Tuesday, a day when we are encouraged to give our time, our money, our kindness to local charities and nonprofits as well. In wbz's James Rojas is and Ken Moore Square.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday offer us some real deals, but Giving Tuesday offers us the chance to focus on what matters most, and that's community. That's why Danny from Boston looks to give back to the younger generation. For me, it's things I have a connection to. So the students are student employees with me, and then they have causes that they have a reportant of them, So I just want to make sure that I help them out. They is hoping people will keep a youth sports in mind.
There's like kids that want to play sports that can because they don't have the equipment that they need or their families like don't have the money to get the stuff that they need.

Many shoppers are walking around with lighter wallets. Today ABC's Chuck sieverts and says consumers shelled out more than thirteen billion dollars on cyber Monday.
Cyber Monday remains the biggest online shopping day of all time. In the peak hours of eight pm to ten pm, consumers spent fifteen point eight million dollars every minute, says the research firm Adobe Analytics. Shoppers took advantage of bigger than expected discounts and categories such as electronics, toys, clothing, TVs, and computers. Discounts were roughly between twenty and thirty percent.
And if you love to shop at Market Basket, here's a news store coming to the area. The supermarket is moving into Seconk, where the old Showcase sits off Route six. The Sun Chronicle says the de Mulises bought the sixteen acre property back in July and they plan to redevelop it with several retail buildings. The largest will be the Market Basket supermarket. As for the Showcase Cinema, the curtain closes Sunday, January fifth, and no word yet on what

According to The New Yorker, hegsth was forced to step down from leading two conservative veteran groups in part because of accusations of mismanaging funds and abusing alcohol while on the job, allegedly using official funds to party, sexually pursuing female staffers, and repeatedly being so drunken public employees had to care for him, including once when he tried quote joining the dancers on the stage of a Louisiana's strip
club where he had brought his team. According to a whistleblower report obtained by the magazine.
