The presidential candidates are still fighting for every inch in their swingsdate tug of war, but they're also planning their final messages to the American public before election day. ABC's Mary Bruce begins our coverage.
Pars campaign has now announced that next Tuesday, exactly one week from election day, she plans to give a major address or closing argument to the American people at the exact same site in Washington where Donald Trump addressed his supporters on January sixth. But first today, she'll be down in Georgia for big get out the Vote rally with some big names including Bruce Springsteen, Tyler Perry, and former President Obama.

Today, Donald Trump campaigns in Arizona and Nevada, two states with seventeen electoral votes between them, were registered Republicans now outnumbered Democrats among those mailing or casting early votes. Tomorrow, Trump heads to Texas for a taping of the popular Joe Rogan podcast. Then he's onto Michigan and Pennsylvania, and on Sunday he'll be in his hometown of New York for a rally at Madison Square.
Guard polling shows Vice President Harris is in the lead in Nevada and former President Trump is leading in Arizona. Gun advocates take a big step in their fight against the state's new firearms reforms. Governor Moorehealy signed an emergency preamble this month to let a sweeping gun law go into effect immediately now Second Amendment to advocates have collected nearly one hundred thousand signatures into of a twenty twenty six ballid measure against the reforms. They say the law
infringes on their rights. Supporters of the reform say they are crucial to keeping Massachusetts gun violence rate low. Health officials are still investigating a deadly E Coli outbreak. Link to McDonald's quarter pounders in ten states. ABC's Jim Ryan reports.
McDonald's put its national president in front of the cameras Wednesday to try to ease consumers' concerns, and it's pulled the quarter pounder from the menu in about twenty percent of its locations. The company is facing its first lawsuit, filed by a man who says he came down with e coli two days after eating at McDonald's. He wants one hundred and fifty thousand dollars in damages.
One person has now died, dozens more have become sick from the tinted burgers. Next week will be the last off for Stop and Shop in Brockton, the last remaining stop and shop in the city of Champions is one of eight set to close around the state.
