We get the latest in the special report from CBS News.
Federal investigators will hold a briefing shortly on the truck ramming in New Orleans, which left fifteen people dead, including the attacker. CBS is Anna Scheckter says it may clear up some of the President's comments on the suspect, an Army veteran from Texas flying an ISIS flag.
Biden said last night that there were social media posts videos in which he pledged allegiance to ISIS. We have not seen posts like that, but certainly the ISIS flag is an indicator, and so investigators are interviewing anyone that might have been an associate, that might have been an accomplice or pushed him or encouraged him and gave him financial support for tactical support to know how to carry.

According to officials, the twenty twenty four cyber truck was rented in Colorado's Springs before it was driven to Nevada and armed with fireworks style mortars, gas canisters in fuel, reinforcing the preliminary belief that the blast was intentional. Now police treating the explosion is a possible act of terror, among other possibilities, saying that they believe it was an isolated incident, but are taking no chances.
In the attack in New Orleans, postpone college football's annuals Sugar Bowl game by a day. Georgia and Notre Dame and now scheduled to play at four pm today. CBS's Chris Miller has more.

Shooting in East Boston leaves one man seriously wounded and police on the hunt for a suspect. Gunshots were called in around six o'clock last night in the area of Marion and Paris Streets in East Police found a man on scene with gunshot wounds, taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. So far, no arrest, no motive, no name. It is so bright out there and so cold. It's the wind. We're looking at wing US fifty sixty miles per hour today, which is going to really cut the

I want to go back to our top story here at eleven oh five, former Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis on night Side with Dan Ray is offering his insight into the New Orleans terror attack, and Davis has focused on one detail that left Bourbon Street vulnerable to attack.
Listen in that detail, the lack of security barriers at one end of Bourbon Street. They were under construction when the New Year's celebrating was going on.
He decided to just park a police cruiser in the intersection. As we saw, this suspect was able to sneak his way around onto the sidewalk and past the car.
Davis saying, those barriers can literally be a life and death difference.

The man who served out the remainder of Senator Ted Kennedy's term back in twenty ten is eyeing a political comeback in New Hampshire. The Eagle Tribune reporting former Senator Scott Brown, a Republican, says he's doing the early legwork required before a final decision on a US entered run come twenty twenty six against Democratic Senator Jean Shaheen in
New Hampshire. Brown says he is ticked off by how the entire Democratic delegation in New Hampshire covered up for Joe Biden for the last four years, calling them out of touch with what people want. In New Hampshire and in Washington, House Republicans are working on plans to make it tougher to house the House speaker. CBS's Michael Tuscano is there.
In fighting has made governing difficult for Republicans, who continue to have a razor thin majority in the House, and the rule they created in the last session allowing a single member to trigger a no confidence vote to remove the speaker didn't help the new rules package will raise that number to nine.
