You clouds in the sky forty two degrees in the city at eleven o'clock. Hello, thanks for being with us. I'm Sherry Small and here's what's happening. The snow is out of here, but for the rest of the day it's going to be dry.

The wag of the snow we saw overnight this afternoon looks dry. We're eazy and mile there with some sunshine returning. We're into the mid to upper forties tonight, a few clouds, low thirty five.

So we're thinking about everything very deeply here. Kendall Square has been titled the most innovative square mile on Earth because of the high concentration of entrepreneurial startups, biotech companies and ideas here that have developed into a way of life since around twenty ten.

There's always new stuff coming out of MIT Kendall Square and all the surrounding companies and everything like that. Just down the street from one another, there's Biogen Maderna, Pfizer, Google, Microsoft, and Facebook.

In the wake of the snow we saw overnight. This afternoon looks dry, breezy, and mile there with some sunshine returning. We're into the mid to upper forties tonight. A few clouds, low thirty five clouds build tomorrow, high forty one to forty five. Rain arrives late in the day, continues through tomorrow night. May start us some snow. Tour four ninety five Tuesday, a cloudy, foggy, drizzly day, high forty five, rain back Tuesday night, heavy rain, Wednesday, highs near sixty.

Checking the region right now on the Cape, we're seeing anywhere tamps forty six to about forty eight degrees, forty four in Plymouth, Quincy forty four as well. Let's check the north shore forty three in Revere, forty in Gloucester, thirty nine degrees right now in Worcester, forty three in Framingham, forty two in Springfield, and up in Fischburg and Leminster forty one degrees in the city. Right now we do have mostly cloudy skies, but forty two degrees at eleven

oh five. Another lookalike competition is expected to take place this afternoon on Boston Conse.

Lookalike contests just keep popping up. A few weeks ago there was a Tom Holland one on the Common, but supposedly this afternoon there's one for the late President John F.

Pictures of flyers for the competition have been floating around on social media, and those say there's a fifty dollars prize for the winner. Obviously, these things are anything but official, but if you see some presidential looking figures on the common around one o'clock at least you'll know why. Jared brows And and WBZ Boston's news.

Radio all Right. Today is the last day for a dog adoptathon that is going on waiving adoption fees. It is called Home for the Holidays. The MSPCA angel and several of its coalition partners are teaming up for the adoption where the fees will be waived for all dogs age one year and older, a right. People often think of gifting or taking in a puppy this time of year, but there's a lot to be said for the benefits

of adopting older dogs again. Today's the last day. It's being held at the MSPCA shelters in Boston, methu and Salem and Centreville on the Cave, along with the Worcester Animal Rescue League, Berkshire Humane Society, Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control that's in Springfield, Lowell Humane Society and Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinson. You are now in the loop for news updates throughout the day.
