Sunny and fifty eight degrees on this Easter Sunday morning. Hello, thanks for being with us. I'm Sherry Smallen. Here's what's happening. Not as warm as yesterday, but plenty of sunshine on this Easter Sunday.

After what was the warmest day so far this year by quite a margin yesterday, Today looks much cooler with windy conditions and sunshine much of the time for this Easter holiday, with a high reaching sixty four.

It's the relatively low humidity and windy combination prompting the special weather statement. National Weather Service says the Boston and Greater Boston area is at an elevated risk of fire spreading. That means officials are asking everybody to be extra cautious with anything that can ignite, like machinery, cigarettes, and matches. Just one spark has the potential to spread quickly in

start a forest fire. This comes as firefighters and Lake Villain surrounding areas have been working to tame several brush fires. There is an elevated fire danger advisory in place there no open burning is permitted. I'm a freedman w BZ, Boston's News radio.

Lowell Police continuing to investigate a deadly shooting middle Sexty a Marion Ryan's office as fifty year old Tiger Dyer was found at his home on Cumberland Road at around eleven o'clock yesterday morning with a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lowell Police. Florida State University, still reeling from last week's deadly campus shooting, classes will start up again this week.

University officials say, even though their hearts are still heavy, classes will resume tomorrow. They say they know it won't feel like a normal week, but it'll be the last one before finals. That's for that suspect. He's still in the hospital recovering, but official will say it is only a matter of time before he's booked into jail on various charges, including murder.

We have sixty degrees right now in Falmouth, it's fifty four in Wooster, sixty in Brockton, fifty seven in loll sixty one in New Bedford, sixty in Quincy. In the city right now fifty eight degrees and sonny at eleven oh five and back to news reenactors are joined by protesters from Weymouth to Waltham and across the country, chanting no Kings, anti Trump protesters taking to the streets, drawing parallels between two hundred and fifty years ago and today.

The Globe reports of demonstrators on Boston Common carried signs with slogans like we the People refuse to serve a King. This weekend's rallies against the Trump administration's policies, following the hands off demonstrations held across the country two weeks ago.
