Speaker 3

It's a hot button issue the town is very divided on this.

Speaker 1

That Salisbury selecting Mike Colburn talking about a town meeting warrant limiting parking on the town streets around Salisbury Beach to residents. Colburn's given a careful consideration but can't support it.

Speaker 3

One concerned is more dwellings than acture parking spots. People pay for a PLACA card and they still can't park at the beach. Are they going to be fistfights at the beach because now they've paid for something and they still can't park there.

Speaker 1

John Who's Uniteds, lives at the beach to South End and says plenty of seaside communities have similar restrictions.

Speaker 4

Lost to Rockport, Essex, Salem, Hull and a lot of others. Salisby residents should have the same rights as other people who live in a resort community. You know, why should sliveby residence be second class citizens.

The Delta Airlines is suing the cybersecurity software company that crippled the airline Back in July.

Speaker 5

When CrowdStrike put out a faulty update, windows machines around the world became inoperable. Delta Airlines was hit especially hard with its systems going down and canceled flights around the world. Now, Delta is suing CrowdStrike for that computer outage, saying it was due to grossly negligent acts and that CrowdStrike took shortcuts. Delta estimates had lost over five hundred million dollars as a result of the outage. Alex Stone ABC its.

And CrowdStrike issuing a statement last night insisting that Delta's claims are based on disproven misinformation. A father and son from Winchester facing child abuse charges. Doctor Bradford Ferrick originally arrested back in twenty twenty three when he was a medical resident at based eight Franklin Family Medicine in Western mass and authorities allegedly recovering eighty devices related to child sex use during raids on two homes in Winchester and Amherst.

Doctor Ferrik arraigned on October seventeenth on a number of charges. Sixty seven year old David Ferrick was a rain September thirtieth, on similar charges. Let's check the ACI weather forecast. We have a red flag warning that's in effect from it started at eight o'clock this morning, in effect until seven

o'clock tonight. That's because we have a gusty breeze out there today and because of all that bride rush, that dry brush that we have, because of the lack of rain in most of the region, we do have that burn effect that is a wildfire threat that we do have to be aware of. Today. Highs around sixty five degrees, turning out mostly sunny tonight, clear yet brisk, a low of forty two in the city, mid thirties in some

of those inland suburbs. All right, a great deal of sunshine tomorrow, but still it's going to be quite a bit chillier. Highs in the mid to high fifties, and then even cooler on one day back to work with highs near fifty degrees Tuesday, a little bit milder, plenty of sunshine, highs in the mid to high fifties.

Speaker 1

All right.

Speaker 2

Right now, let's check the reach in along the cape. We are seeing anywhere from fifty eight to sixty degrees at sixty in Plymouth, sixty in Brockton, sixty one in Danvers, sixty one in Gloucester. All right, let's see farther inland. Sixty in Lemonster, fifty seven in Worcester, sixty degrees in Springfield, and in the city. Right now we have fifty eight degrees. It's eleven oh six. A local food hall relaunches in Cambridge with a whole new, upscale look and field.

Speaker 6

Don't call it a comeback, and don't call it a food court.

Speaker 5

So we're calling it a global food and drink experience.

Speaker 6

There's a shiny new space after six months of construction at the Cambridge Sign Galleria. The former food court is now canalside with a bar serving up craft cocktails and food options like Mediterranean from Boston's, a new and new Zealand style ice cream from Brooklines far out. Melissa does marketing for them all.

Speaker 2

I think sometimes people feel like, you know, people don't want to shop in store, but again they're here for the experience and we're really going through a transformation.
