And that'sach you weather meteorologist Phildegger. The full forecast coming up in three to news. Gloucester teachers and the School Committee come to an agreement on ending a two week strike.
After striking for fifteen days, the Gloucester Teachers' Union and the School Committee have come to an agreement to end the strike and get everyone back in the classroom.
The contract has recently been ratified unanimously by its members.
That's union president Rachel Savo Rex. She says they're excited to return to school on Monday Day with a strong and fair contract. This agreement includes better pay for paraprofessionals, wage increases for teachers, and better working conditions.
Our contract represents the greatest victory gloss educators have seen in decades.
Members have one of the best paid parental benefits.
The school committee says this reflects their deep commitment, appreciation and respect for educators, and their investment into public education. Brooke McCarthy WBZ Boston's News Radio.
Unfortunately, still no deal on ending strikes in Marblehead and Beverly. A second death is reported in a fatal shooting in Woolster. We get that from WBC Shared Bros.
At Least say they responded to an apartment on Brookside Avenue around six thirty pm on Thursday. Inside the apartment, they found one woman shot dead and another man with life threatening injuries. According to The Globe, that man passed away at the hospital, marking the fourteenth shooting death in Worcester this year. Police have not identified the victims and no arrests have been made.

New England Patriot Safety Jabrill Pepper is arrested on salt and battery charges back in early October, will now be heading to court on January twenty second. The victim claiming Peppers choked her smashed her head against a wall and pushed her down a flight of stairs. Pepper denying the woman's accusation, saying that she fell down the stairs while intoxicated. The victim is also filing a ten and a half
mill ten and a half million dollar civil lawsuit. New Peppers is free on twenty five hundred dollars bail and now on the NFL Commissioner's exempt list, meaning he cannot practice or attend games. The Celtics meat The Whizzards went away to ninety six last night and are back in action tomorrow afternoon against the timber Wolfs. This is at the Garden, tip off at three point thirty. Bruins face off against the Red Wings tonight in Detroit. Puck drops
at seven. Patriots played the Dolphins in Miami tomorrow one o'clock kickoff there. BC plays North Carolina at Alumni Stadium at noon Today. UMass Amherst has a tough test playing Georgia twelve forty five in Athens, and the game Harvard Yale kicks off at noon at Harvard Stadium. The Crimson can clinch their first IVY League title in a decade with a win. A loss could drop them into a

Massachusetts Rep. Stephen Lynch celebrating at Flynn Cruise Port Boston as Massport unveils one hundred million dollar plan to transform this hub. Most of that money, we'll go to a ship to shore power system.
When these big ships come in, in order to provide power to their passengers, they've got to run those diesel engines.
It's a big pollution problem that's getting bigger as cruise liners swell to massive sizes.
Rather than having them blowing diesel fumes out over the city, they'll be able to come in and plug in.

The Boston Licensing Board removing the purchase of a liquor license held by the former owners of a Boston bar. The Cypress Realty Group, the landlord of the building, buying the license, which had been held by the Union Street Bar Sons of Boston. That bar has been closed for a year and a half after the bouncer there, Alvaro Loarama, fatally stabbed twenty three year old former marine Daniel Martinez
in twenty twenty two. Proceeds from the sale of that license will go to the estate of the family of the victim. The Globe reporting the landlord is currently negotiating a lease with a new tenant to run a restaurant there with that liquor license. Israel carries out more deadly air strikes in central Bay Route, at least eleven people killed, dozens injured. We get the latest from the BBC's Hugo but Jacob.
