That's where the Trump administration is doubling down, telling a federal court that it will not say if it has any plans to bring a mistakenly deported Maryland
man back home from a notorious prison in l Salvador. However, CBS's Derek Waller says we might end up learning more about the plane at some point today.
Today, President Trump is planning to meet with El Salvador's president at the White House, hours after the country released videos showing ted alleged gay members being handed over by the US military to police in that country. The meeting comes amid an ongoing court battle over a Maryland father the administration admitted was said to a notorious prison in that Central American country by mistake, the Supreme Court ordering the administration to facilitate his return.
And the meeting between President Trump and the president of El Salvador about to get underway. Momentarily at the White House. So we find out more about what happens behind those closed doors. Back on Friday, an immigration lawyer from Newton says she was surprised to open up her email and find an email from Homeland Security telling her to leave the United States within seven days.
Nicole Mischeroni says the email told her that her parole had been terminated. She was confused, though, because she was born in Massachusetts and has lived here her entire life. Misscarrooney says at first she thought the email was for one of her clients, as it had no case number or identifying information, But she says usually these notices don't
come by email in the first place. Homeland Security confirms she did get that by mistake, but they do say it is an email they're sending to people here in the country legally under Biden error programs allowing people to live and work in the United States. At eleven oh two, Now to pens Sylvania, where a suspect is in custody this morning. After that arson attack destroyed part of Pennsylvania. Governor Josh Shapiro's home, forcing him and his family to flee in the middle of the night.
The fire black and damage evidence part of the mansion left uninhabitable. The Governor and his family were gathered Saturday evening with two dozen others celebrating the first night of Passover. At two am, that very room was engulfed in fire. The Governor and his family were asleep inside, police rushing in to rouse them. Authorities now charging thirty eight year old Cody Bomber of Harrisburg with aggravated arson, attempted murder, and terrorism.

This is all for the benefit of Earth. Peter King, CBS News eleven O six to Dead Them Now. Jury selection continuing this hour in the Karen Reid murder case. Sixteen people have been seated so far for the second criminal trial. Both sides, though, say they want at least two more people on that jury is considering the volatility of the case and the potential that we might see another long trial here now. So far, through jury selection over the past couple of weeks, almost five hundred people
have come through. An officials say almost ninety percent of them say they knew about the case, which was highly publicized throughout the first trial. Opening statements are set to start tomorrow. Sightseeing company New York Helicopter Tours is closing down after last week's deadly crash into the Hudson Your CBS's Jesse Mitchell.
And National Transportation Safety Board are investigating what caused the sightseeing aircraft to fall from the sky, killing a family of five passengers from Spain and the aircraft's pilot. CBS News reached out to the owner of the company, who responded, our sole focus is on assisting the NTSB and its investigation and grieving the tragic lots of life now.
The company, by the way, had previously been involved in two safety incidents investigated by the FAA. And there's a lot of grief and shock this morning in Weston and around the state for loved ones of those killed in a plane crash over the weekend right by the New York Massachusetts state line. Among those on board Corona Groff, the twenty twenty two NCAA Woman of the Year, her boyfriend,
her parents, her brother, and his girlfriend. They were flying to celebrate her twenty fifth birthday and passover in the Catskills when the plane crashed in upstate New York. The Grafts are reportedly from Weston. According to the NTSB, the flight missed an approach to Columbia County Airport before it went down. When air traffic control tried to tell the pilot that he was flying too low, they said they never heard back from the cockpit. You are now in
