In a post on truth social the President elect said, if there's going to be a shutdown of the government, let it begin now under the Biden administration, not after January twentieth under Trump. He added, this is a Biden problem to solve, but if Republicans can help solve it, they will.
And that's CBS's Stacy Lynn reporting. How Speaker Mike Johnson meanwhile, has said that he was expecting a vote on a new deal this morning. We've yet to hear word of any such movement.
