The Vice president again called out Donald Trump for calling people who disagree with him the enemy, and pledged to be a president for all Americans. Karen Travers ABC News the White House.
Harris also has events in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin today. Meantime, Former President Donald Trump was in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, addressing comments President Biden made during a campaign event with Latinos where he appeared to call Trump supporters garbage. Following remarks from a comedian over the weekend at a Trump rally. That comedian called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage. Former President Trump says his supporters are far better quality.
Big there's four more years of gross incompetence, the most corrupt, horrible people. These are horrible people. Oops.
We should get along with everybody.
They're horrible people. The former president has another rally this evening in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he will appear with former Packers quarterback Brett farm A step forward from Boston's tax plan, the latest one the Boston City Council voting twelve to one in favor of Mayor Woo's home rule petition,
reflecting a revised approach to reclassifying city property taxes. Last week, the mayor submitted a redrafted plan after reaching a compromise with business groups. This measure still needs to get through the state legislature and the

In a statement, the President said the GDP report quote shows how far we've come since I took office, from the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression to the strongest economy in the world. The President added, we need to keep building on this progress, said Republicans proposing across the board tariffs would cost families nearly four thousand dollars a year, reignite inflation, and kill hundreds of thousands of jobs.

We have had a fairly mild day, not everywhere though. We've hung in the low sixties in some spots though we've gotten into the low seventies and others, so it just depends on where you are. We've had some sunshine around, also some clouds and a little bit of a smoky haze from time to time, partly cloudy. Tonight it will be on the milder side, certainly for the end of October fifty seven in Boston, about fifty in the suburbs. Tomorrow we're going to warm things up nicely into the
upper seventies. Probably will not make the record of eighty one said in Boston in nineteen forty six, but nonetheless it will be a pretty warm day with sunshine around and a little bit of a breeze. Tricker treaders will enjoy going out in temperatures in the seventies low seventies, probably for most of the trick or treaders. Later Tomorrow night will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the mid sixties,
and then Friday still near record warmth. The record on Friday is only seventy seven, so we got a chance of getting there. It'll be in the mid to upper seventies, so we'll see sunshine around later in the day after a couple of showers. Early Saturday and Sunday will feature sunshine, so that's nice, but will also feature temperatures in the mid fifties. But then again, it'll be the beginning of November then, so what do you expect sixty five? Right now?
In Boston, The Pink House in Newbury hard to miss as you make your way down the Plumb Island Turnpike, and the aging home has been the center of a fight between residents and the Feds for years. Despite recent moves to take it down, the house is it's going to stay, at least for now. Wdbz's Nicole Davis with more.
People from all over the world love the Pink House for artistic inspiration, but the home itself is not in great shape. The Fed say it's full of asbestos, mold and has water in the basement. They call it dilapidated and a safety hazard. There have been efforts to try to save it over the years. A land exchange program not working out, a government auction for somebody to buy up the building and move it ended without one bid. Even recently, there was an anonymous offer of a million
dollars to preserve the home. All that being said, work has started to prepare the building for demolition, but now the process has been stopped by Governor more Heally. She says, more conversations have to be had with all the stakeholders to find the best path forward. Rachelle Joseph, president of the advocacy group Support the Pink House, says she and many others in.
Town are entirely grateful to Governor Healey and to Senator Bruce Tarr and Rep. Kazner for stepping forward and representing those voices.

Local police say a noisy car modification is crossing the line from disruptive to dangerous. Wdbzy's Madison Rogers explains, is.
It the sound of someone online showing off what's called a modified straight pipe exhaust That popping sound mimics gunfire and Somerville police say it's not just causing panic for neighbors, it's setting off their gunfire detection systems. Please tell me. At least twice recently they've rush to the area of Foss Park for a potential shooting, only to find it with some troublemaker with a tricked out car. That rapid response itself also creates a greater risk that someone will
get hurt in a crash. Police are trying to remind folks that any modified exhaust is illegal in Massachusetts. It should be noted groups like the ACLU have criticized the use of shot spotter systems, partly because they're prone to these kinds of false alarms.
