News sixty three degrees in Boston at three o'clock. Good afternoon, I'm Ben Parker. Here's what's happening. For residents of Florida who haven't evacuated ahead of Hurricane Milton. Time is quickly running out. But for those still looking to get out of dodge, Florida's Governor Rod Dessentda says, you don't have to take the interstate.

When you hear evacuate. Don't think you've got to get on the interstate and outrun the storm. You can find safe places on higher ground, hunker down, and then be able to go back to your home when the storm passes.

The latest update from the National Hurricane Center says Milton is regaining some of its strength on the CUSP now of becoming a Category five storm again. Top wins one hundred and fifty five miles an hour. It is five hundred and twenty miles to the southwest of Tampa, Florida, moving at about eight miles an hour. It's expected to

make landfall sometime tomorrow, probably tomorrow night. Still as a major hurricane, President Biden has been connecting with governors of states impacted by Hurricane Helene as crews worked to rebuild after that devastating storm.

President Biden says he's spoken to all the political leaders in the Southeast region, some more than once, and told them anything they ask for they can get from the federal government.

City of Boston announcing who will be tasked with studying the impact of Carnie hospitals closing. Boston Public Health Commissioner doctor Bisola o Jikutu and the President of the League of Community Health Senters, Michael Curry, will co chair the group. They'll be joined by several politicians, doctors, and healthcare professionals. They've been tasked with assessing what the health needs for
