FEMA's back of the ground at hard hit portions of western North Carolina workers there have been the subject of threats. North Carolina's Governor Roy Cooper ordering law enforcement to travel with FEMA agents. There has been an arrest made. The person sending that email is posing as a friendly tech support specialist who's watching your computer for problems. But think about it.
There are not enough tech support people in this world to be monitoring every computer that is out there.
The FBI Jeffrey Risinger says that fake tech person will at some point request payment for services money moved into a crypto wallet.
When you move that money into that new wallet, the money is then gone.
Americans last year lost one point six billion dollars to tech support schemes like that one Gymerly in ABC News.
The Heley Administration awarding close to two million dollars in grants to pay for clean energy projects across the state. Dozens of communities will be getting thousands of dollars in funding. The money will pay for projects to cut down on fossil fuels and overall energy use in cities and towns. Many of the projects will replace windows because communities aren't allowed to use and the other grant to do that

Three Boss Miss the National Women's Soccer League is officially announced The name of the pro women's football squad soon to play in Boston. In a video on X Today, the league says the Green and Black clad team will hit the pitch in twenty twenty six, but where they'll call home is still up in the air right now.
The plan is to fix up White Stadium and Franklin Park so the team can use it as a home base alongside some Boston public school teams, but some residents have been opposing that project for months, even filing suit. In a statement today, the group Franklin Park defenders, as a private team has no place in a public park. The spooky seasons here, and after what was sort of a spooky season for the Red Sox, they're ready to celebrate Halloween. On Saturday, October twenty sixth, the Socks will be hosting Halloween Movie Night at Fenway Park. Beatle Juice. Beetlejuice will play on the center field score board. Cost is ten bucks for adults, five bucks for kids. Before that something free for everyone trick or treating around the warning track and other activities from three point thirty to
six pm. Oh, great turkey, where are you get the bigger bird? This year? Prices are falling on birds, but not everything on your Thanksgiving menu will be cheaper.
Some good news for the main core shoppers can expect to pay sixteen percent less for turkeys this year compared to last year, though ham prices are up five point two percent. Side dishes are a bit more expensive. This year. Sweet potatoes saw a four percent increase. Rusted potatoes are at an all time high, up fourteen percent. For other produce, consider buying fresh. Canned green beans are up nearly nine percent, and can pumpkin prices jump to wopping thirty percent compared to last year.
