For the TSA millions of airline passengers going through security at the nation's airports through the Thanksgiving weekend.
TSA spokespersont Lisa Farbstein Warren's travelers to arrive at airports at least two hours ahead of their scheduled flight times.
You need to allow yourself extra time if you're parking at the airport. Then once you get into the terminal, if you have to check a bag, expect that your airline checking counters will be crowded. And all that is before you even get to the checkpoint.
The TSA is expecting to see a jump in numbers, with at least six percent more passengers passing through security checkpoints this Thanksgiving compared to last. Passengers planning to fly with foods can head to the TSA's website or a mobile app to make sure they're packing it in the right place.

More in an act of solidarity and support. Teachers union leaders from across the state were at the State House to meet with Governor Moore Healy calling on her to get involved in the teacher strikes in Marblehead and Beverly.
We asked her to go up to the North Shore and try to bring both parties together.
That's Maldon Education Association President Deb Jezwaldough. She says they want the governor to make good on campaign promises to advocate for public education. Teachers from Marblehead and Beverly were busy on the picket lines, but Deb says they're all in this together.

You've got the rain showers that are continuing in the eastern part of the state. They're pushing away from west to east, and that is how the clearing will continue as we head into and through the evening. We will get better weather in here for later tonight. Truly, though it will be about freezing in the inland suburbs, thirty seven downtown and a little breezy too. That breeze hangs in Tomorrow, there'll be a mix of sun and clouds.
It'll be a pretty nice day breeze aside, temperatures in the upper forties, and then tomorrow night it'll become cloudy, a low of thirty eight, and Thursday that will not be a very nice day. In fact, it's going to be a pretty miserable Thanksgiving day weather wise. We'll have clouds and showers around in the morning, and the rain will continue through the day, afternoon and even into the evening, and far enough to the north and west we're going
to see some snow mixing. Outside of four ninety five, there could be some flakes. You go a little bit further north and west and there could be some accumulation, especially into the higher elevations of central and western Mass into southern New Hampshire. Temperatures on Thursday mid forties downtown, but only in the thirties north and west of four ninety five, and then we're in the mid forties with some sunshine breaking back out for shopping day on Friday.
The weekend looks pretty good too, right now, forty eight degrees in Boston. Nothing like taking into the game at Fenway Park. Nothing like a good old fashioned rivalry either. In this case, though it is not the Red Sox and Yankees, and it's not even baseball. One of the best high school Thanksgiving rivalries football comes to Fenway today.
It is the battle between Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket High. They now call it the Island Cup. It is the forty fourth edition of the Island Cup and the seventy fifth meeting in the school's history. Nantucket leads the overall head to head here thirty eight wins, thirty losses, three ties. Last year the Vineyard did get the win. And when you win, you get to party in the student section. Now, yeah, maybe here's some of that at Fenway Park. Who knows,
big time high school football at Fenway. It feels good, doesn't it. There are three more high school rivalry games to be played at Fenway to end the season as well. Exciting time for the kids. Drew moholland w b Z, Boston's News Radio.
