Lisa Newhook lives in Foxborough. Her husband was walking the dog Saturday night and he came.

Speaker 2

In and said, did you see up in the sky? And I said no.

Speaker 3

She went outside to look and saw five drones and they had a big, bright white light and little red lights on the edges. She says they were big and moving around quickly for at least twenty minutes, and she wants answers. I just wish somebody could shoot it down, look at it and see what it is, and then we'll know.

Speaker 2

But until then, I'm nervous and worried.

Speaker 3

Governor Heally says she's aware of the sightings and state police are prepared to support federal authorities. With jurisdiction over airspace in Foxborough, Suzannsausville WBZ, Boston's news radio.

Speaker 2

And in Boston. Two people have been arrested in a thirds on the run after a drone was seen flying over the Harbor last night. Police say it was dangerously close to Boston Logan's airspace. Dispatched to the Harbor Islands, BPD says they found the operators trespassing at the Old Long Island Hospital. A Charlestown man and a Bridgewater man were taken into custody, and there's an ongoing search for

a third suspect who fled the island. Boston Police say they coordinated with Homeland Security and the Joint Terrorism Task Force. A grieving family is speaking out more than three months now since a state police recruit suffered of fatal injuries during a training exercise. Them, I'll go over with her family's never going to be here the same. Her sister, which is Enrik's mother, is totally you know, this has destroyed her.

Speaker 4

The family of Massachusetts State Trooper Enrique Delgado Garcia are looking for truth, justice and transparency. On Saturday, a small group gathered on a busy Lincoln Street in Worcester, holding up signs and speaking out. They're here to bring attention to his death investigation. Del Gatto Garcia died back in September after a boxing training exercise as a trainee for the Massachusetts State Police. He was only twenty five years old. Felicia Garcia is Enrique's aunt.

Speaker 2

Speaker 4

Circumstances surrounding his death is still under investigation.

Speaker 2

Paul Burton there reporting for CBS News Boston. As former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recovers from a hip replacement surgery this weekend. Fellow California Democrat Adam Schiff says he's been in contact with Pelosi's daughter, Christine.

Speaker 2

That Senator Shift, speaking to ABC Congresswoman Pelosi fell at an official event in Luxembourg and looking at the four day WBZAKI weather forecast, It's rather cloudy tonight with a low around thirty one, mostly cloudy skies tomorrow forty five or so for the high, and then some rain arrives. Tomorrow night. We'll get down to thirty nine in Boston, but well north and west of town. You could see this system start off as a wintry mix, and I

will continue with some morning rain and drizzle Tuesday. Cloud's eventually breaking for some sunshine quite mile to high around fifty nine, forty seven for the high. On Wednesday, it's a cloudy one with some more rain around for Wednesday night. Right now in Boston it is thirty four degrees and mostly cloudy. The sunsets in less than ten minutes. Boston the city that's proud of its championship banners, to say the least, but some sports fans argue we've been shorted

one more title. Wbz's Kyle Bray explains.

Speaker 6

One hundred and twenty years ago, the Boston Red Sox were known as the Boston Americans, and they were fresh off winning the first ever World Series title, but they never got a chance to defend it. That's because the New York Giants refused to play the World Series that year. Their owner was afraid of losing to an upstart American League team, and because the World Series wasn't a yearly event yet there was no World Series at all, therefore

there was no champion. But Sports museum curator Richard Johnson thinks.

Speaker 7

Otherwise should they be considered the World champions? Abslutely?

Speaker 6

I mean, if one team is ready to play and the other refuses to do so, the team that would play should get it right. Well, the league does not recognize them as the champs, but the fans still rewarded their pennant winning team that year.

Speaker 7

But the fans, in typical fashion back then, got behind their team, held a banquet, gave a trophy to player manager Jimmy.

Speaker 6

Co There's still champs in our hearts. From the City of Champions Kyle Bray WBZ, Boston's news radio.

Watertown police say a suspected vandal has been arrested months after a suspicious note was put on the door of a local Armenian church. awarded to President elect Donald Trump. ABC News has agreed to pay fifteen million dollars in a suit filed against the network and anchored George Stephanopolis. We get the details from CBS.

Speaker 1

Court documents revealed that Trump and ABC News agreed to settle a defamation lawsuit, with ABC paying fifteen million dollars toward Trump's Presidential Librarian Foundation had a million dollars to cover Trump's legal fees. Trump had claimed anchor George Stephanopoulos made quote false in defamatory statements about Trump in a

twenty twenty four interview with Representative Nancy Mace. ABC also posted an editor's note on its website saying the network and Stephanopoulos regret those statements.

Speaker 2

That was reporter Bradley Blackburn. A new class action lawsuit claims cell carrier Team Mobile has been deceiving customers for twenty years. Close to two dozen plaintiffs claim T Mobile is disguised a hidden fee as a government charge. The charge is allegedly nowhere to be found on T Mobile's subscriber agreement. The regulatory programs in Telco recovery fee is four dollars and forty nine cents a month. You're now in the loop for news updates throughout the day. Listen
