News thirty five degrees in Boston at four o'clock good Saturday afternoon. I'm Madison Rogers, and here's what's happening. Police and residents down on the Cape are looking for answers after concerning sights in the sky. More now from CBS News Boston's Logan Hall.
From New Jersey to New York and now Cape CODs several reports of swarms of large drones cruising the skies.
Look up in the sky over there, What did that look like to you? He's like, that's not a plane. That's weird. I'm like, I know, I wonder if it's one of those drones that we keep seeing on TV and social media. From New York, New Jersey.
Harwich local Alex says he witnessed this phenomenon.
I woke up this morning to the posts of everybody saying, look at there's drones on Cape Con. I'm like, now, I know it was a drone. I'm not crazy.
And Alex wasn't the only person on the Cape to see something in the night sky. Harwich Chief of Police Can Constone says his department documented a report and passed it along to state and federal law enforcement agencies. He says a police officer even saw them in the sky. One of my officers also saw a couple type drones over near our station in the visiting air station.
The FBI has said the drone sidings in New York and New Jersey do not pose any threat to public safety or national security. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has had a hip replaced after a fall overseas. The Democrat underwent the major surgery at a US military hospital in Germany. Her office, as the eighty four year old is well on the men. She thanks staffers there and at a hospital in Luxembourg. Reports say Pelosi fell during an event
in Luxembourg alongside other members of Congress. It's a day of tradition in Maryland. The Army Navy game is back, with Navy leading Army seven to zero. Right now in the second President Elect Trump is there watching the game and huddling with some top allies. It comes as a top advisor to one of his top cabinet picks faces criticism from both sides of the aisle.
Next week, Healthy Human Services pick Robert F. Kennedy starts making the rounds, but one of his advisors is now under scrutiny after submitting a petition to the FDA in twenty twenty two to revoke the polio vaccine. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a polio survivor, sternly warned efforts to undermine public confidence in proving cures are not just uninformed, they're dangerous.

The online portal used by Rhode Island state government has been breached Governor Dan McKee.
As part of this investigation, today we discovered that within the Rhode Island bridges system, a cybus criminal had installed dangerous malware that constituted an urgent threat.
Compromised is the private data of hundreds of thousands of people who have applied or received health insurance or other social services over the last eight years. Jennifer Kuiper CBS News that social or that information wrapper could very well include social security numbers and bank account information. The state contractor involved is blaming the attack on an international cyber
criminal group. NFL legend, Randy Moss says he has cancer. Wbz's Charlie bergeron has more so first and foremost.

In an Instagram live stream yesterday, Moss says a stent was put in his liver a few weeks ago, and that procedure led to the discovery of cancer outside his bile duct between his pancreas and his liver. From there, a complex six hour surgery, Moss spending close to a week at a hospital in North Carolina.
We've been able to come out of his surgery and fight.
And battle and camp.
And Moss calls himself a cancer survivor, thanking his team of doctors.

TikTok suffers another blow in court. A federal court just upheld the deadline passed by Congress, which could lead to a US ban in just over a month.
The companies of ahemoth and estimated one hundred and seventy million American users. The Congress passed the law requiring TikTok sale, worrying the app's owner has ties to the Chinese Communist Party. It concerns it could put Americans.
Data at risk.
TikTok challenged, arguing the ban violates the First Amendment hurts American users and businesses that need the platform, but the appeals court ruled today the national security concerns justify the law.
