Mostly sunny, breezy, and sixty four degrees in Boston at four o'clock. Good afternoon, and thanks for joining us on this Memorial Day. I'm Suzanne Salsville. Here's what's happening. President Trump continues his feud with Harvard University. WBZ Jeremy Russ has the very latest.
President Trump threatens to take another three billion dollars in grant money away from the university and redistribute it among trade schools. This comes weeks after the school sued to claw back more than two billion dollars already frozen by the administration. President Trump accuses Harvard of fostering a culture of anti Semitism and wants the university to turn over
detailed information about its international students. Last week, the government revoked the school's ability to enroll foreign students, but Harvard sued, calling the move unlawful, and a federal judge quickly put the whole thing on hold. A status conference in the case has been scheduled for tomorrow in federal court in Boston. Jeremy Ross WBZ Boston's News Radio.
WBZ News Radio has reached out to Harvard for comment. Boston Police are alerting Mattapan and Hyde Park residents after multiple reports of attempted robberies targeting food delivery drivers. Authority say drivers were approached by one or more individuals, sometimes with weapons, and running off with the food. They urged drivers to practice these safety tips. Remain aware of surroundings, verify the delivery address, and share your route with a
friend or family member. Anyone with information on the robberies or urged to contact detectives or the tip line. It's strictly business for passengers at Logan Airport despite the holiday. Wbz's Jay Willette has that.

Officials in Southbridge say a child is dead after apparently falling from a window on Saturday. Details are scarce as the incident remains under investigation. According to process, initial report suggested the child fell from the third floor. It wasn't immediately clear what
led to the apparent fall. And endurance swimmer is close to finishing his historic trip around Martha's Vineyard. Lewis Pugh began his sixty two mile multi day journey back on May fifteenth, swimming in the Cape's frigid waters and enduring a northeaster. Pugh was taking on the challenge to raise awareness about the place flight of sharks as the movie Jaws approaches its fiftieth anniversary. He wants to change the public perception of the animal and encourage protections. A longtime New York congressman has died.
CBS's Matt Piper has details.
Charles Wrangle spent forty six years in Congress. He was a founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus and was the first black chair of the House's influential Ways and Means Committee. A Korean Warvett, Wrangle earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. He often spoke out about his opposition to the Iraq war.
I challenged anyone to tell me that their feelings about this one Iraq would not be different if they thought that their loved ones, their family, their community would be placed in Ham's way.

A former Mashpee Town employee files a racial discrimination complaint against the town. Stephanie Coleman says she was being underpaid while serving as a former secretary for the town manager compared to her white co workers. Coleman is Wampanoaga and African American. She also accuses the town of retaliation after she spoke out about the wage discrepancy. Meanwhile, the town denies the allegations. A hearing is set in August. You are now in the loop.
